Cottonmouth’s formulation is one of the more unique that we’ve seen as of late, with ingredients that include ginseng, astragalus, cordyceps mushroom, momordica fruit, chrysanthemum flower, ginkgo, schizandra berry, asparagus tuber, and citrus peel. The product is sweet (it uses sugar) and has a noticeable ginseng like flavor to it. Otherwise, there is a vegetable note to it and a citrus finish. All in all, we feel the same way about this flavor as we do the classic energy drink flavor — it’s tolerable, but not exactly enjoyable, and it definitely tastes like something that should have functionality to it.…

As long as the big energy drink brands continue to grow and operate multibillion dollar businesses, it seems as though there will be companies who feel as though the best strategy to be a piece of the action is to imitate what they’ve done. And, unfortunately, Bullet Energy Drink is exactly one of those brands, with stock energy drink flavor and a design that feels very cliche. We’re not trying to be mean – we just hope that aspiring energy drink brands take this to heart and create products that are original and innovative.…
