Bigger and better than ever, Natural Products Expo West and SupplyExpo took place March 8-11 at the Anaheim Convention Center. More than 47,000 attendees buzzed about 3,162 exhibits on two floors.
With more than 100 different beverage companies present at the show, this was the largest beverage contingent of any show BevNET has covered this year. We spotted over 20 new or re-launched brands at the show, including Adina’s new lineup of RTD coffees. The annual Nightclub & Bar show was held on March 6 and 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The show permits companies whose products are sold in bars a chance to exhibit their products to bar owners and management. Exhibits at the show included products such as tasers (tested on over 100 voluntary, if not fully sober, brave souls on Tuesday alone), pool tables, video games and, of course, beverages. @@img1

NEW YORK, NY — The NASFT’s annual Summer Fancy Food show took place this week (July 10 – 12) at the Javits Center in NYC. The show featured a number of new brands as well as existing brand with line-extensions. The new brands included: Hint, a new flavored water, Luvli Juices from Boston, Via Water from Brazil and Snow (mint soda) from New York.
Recently introduced brands included Delta Blues Iced Tea Punch, Samabazon and its line-up of acai-powered smoothies, Ginger People’s Ginger Soother beverage, and Jones Soda… line-up of Organic Teas.

PET bottled water accounts for nearly 45% of the volume in the $8 billion US bottled water market. The PET segment owes its roots to premium spring waters such as Evian, Volvic and Fiji which pioneered the territory during the 1990′s. Premium PET water has since become an increasingly competitive and diverse segment. Packaging, purity, and source all contribute to a given brand’s ability to sell at a premium price. In this article, we examine three premium PET bottled water brands, each of which draws on a different source.
