Hey, Enviga, Hava Tava

posted in Uncategorized |

Uh, just when it appears that Coke has beaten its main competitor to the punch when it comes to a weight-reducing product, here come de Pepsi….

During a conference call with stock market analysts today, PepsiCo executives revealed they are developing a new, not-too-sweet soda line, Tava, that’s fruit-based, fortified with vitamins, and loaded with chromium — which may, like Enviga’s vaunted combination of green tea and caffeine, boost the metabolism and promote weight loss.

Welcome to the new world. Hope you’ve got a weird-sounding name….

Thats why it is called free market..see what might work well and give the person competition on their own “creation” and see whom has the better product(or engine behind it)

Oh cmon can Pepsi come up with something they dont takeover or throw its own two cent version of on the shelf..Im not knocking them they have done awesome marketing last couple of years with total food company portfolio but man i wish they would do something different they have the skillz they seem to use Coke as some kinda wierd test subject.Man if i was Coca Cola i would really try to keep stuff more secret cuz they cant win if Pepsi can out spend and out market place them every time…..

Its funny how everyone cries copycat when stories like this come out. Do you really think a company as large as Coke or Pepsi can develop a product from inception to placement on the shelf in a matter of weeks or months? Just because its competitor brought out a new item? Don’t be so foolish. This simply means Tava was already in development (or even finished) when Enviga was launched. Coke beat Pepsi to the market - its as simple as that. They’re not even the same kind of product…Enviga is a green tea beverage…Tava is a lower calorie/sugar soda.
