BevBlog: This Product Blows

Drops, drips, and leaks from the beverage industry.

As if Cocaine Energy Drink wasn’t dumb enough, here comes some fellow named Logan Gola advertising a powdered energy drink mix called “Blow.”

The product, which, when combined with any beverage, makes an energy drink with about 240 mg of caffeine, comes in a clear, resealable vial.

How scandalous. How clever.

Logan, your folks must be so proud! Bet they can’t wait to show you off at the country club…

“And here’s Logan, all grown up. He makes ‘Blow.’ You remember Logan from his Bar Mitzvah, don’t you?”

Again, like Cocaine, market forces will eliminate this guy and his juvenile marketing attempts. Sure he will get the less educated, less monied, and less intelligent consumer but in the end we all know he is doomed for failure with such a name.

Why do people want this guy to fail? Why do you think his parents think he is a failure? This guy has come up with a product that is breaking in on the growing energy drink market. His product is edgy, has a new twist (powdered), and gives the feel of “forbidden.” If anything his parents should be proud, he has created a product that has taken this market by storm and is selling because of it. I am sure many of you have seen Playboy magazine and Hustler magazine, weren’t they edgy in their marketing and products? Now look at them, millionaires at least. If you don’t like the product, don’t buy it. If you don’t want your kids exposed to it, don’t let them buy it. Same thing with playboy, booze, and tobacco. Stop your bitching.
