Dublin may have been the only source of cans of cane sugar dr pepper but there was also bottles in West Jeffereson, NC. Now we have some sightings from bottlers elsewhere in the US (see other threads for details).

Back to Kosher coke. I got a 2 liter of it last night. The store I went to had only a few yellow capped 2 liters (maybe 8 or 9) and hundreds of red capped corn sugar 2 liters. So if you didn't know what they were...

Both have the phrase "original formula" on them the only difference besides the cap color is the ingredients list saying "sucrose" on one and "high fructose corn syrup" on the other.

I didn't notice as "bright" a flavor as I expected so I'm assuming this was beet sugar or mixed sugar not pure cane sugar. Though maybe I'm wrong, maybe it is just because I bought my bottle after the passover season ended and it has been sitting too long?

Either way it's only been in the fridge less than a day so I'm going to have another tasting tonight.
