i'm sorry but mcd's sweet tea is NOT southern sweet tea. its generic tea, sweetened with sugar after it has been brewed and it DOES have lemon in it. Real sweet tea has the sugar (a lot of it, another thing the mcd's is missing enough of) added while the tea is brewing, this way the sugar completely melts into the tea. and it never ever ever ever has lemon in it. the only bottled sweet tea ive ever had that comes pretty close to the real thing is by tradewinds and its called....drum roll....southern style sweet tea. lolol -- winn dixie brand is also pretty good. as far as some people saying its too sweet, well .. its called sweet tea for a reason lol. we like our sugar down here, sugar glazed ham, sweet tea, we eat sugarcane straight up, we loooove our sodas. that could be why the highest percentage of diabetics is in the south. ???
