I was looking to get some Cherrwine over at Woodman's with no luck. I did find some Manzanita Sol (apple soda from Pepsi)which a few of you have been talking about. I found in an end cooler nice and cold.

It was ok. I liked the apple taste but IMO it took an early exit. LOL For what it is,that being a non juice HFCS soda pop,it was drinkable. If I had my wish I would of loved to have seen it with 10 -15% apple juice. I will drink the two other bottles I brought and see how it goes.

I found Lipton Lemon Ice Tea in the 500ml bottle 6packs for $2 each. (First time tasting this variation.) I picked up two of them . I will report back after I chill a bottle down some. The price was right.

I found 7up the old formula 500ml blts 6pks, 5 for $10. I picked up 3 of them.

I picked up DrPeper,500ml btls 6pks,5 for $10. I picked up 2 of them.

Gatorade 20oz 8pks were on sale for $4.75 each.
I was in the mood for orange and lemon aid. LOL

1 32ct 500ml of Danon Spring Water.

1 fridge pack of Canfield's Seltzer Water.

I think my fluid needs are met for the coming week. LOL

OMG...I just enjoyed a real special mass market ice tea. Lipton Iced Tea is very damn good!!!!

It has a very nice strong tea taste when compared to other mass market iced teas. The sweetness of it is not over powering. What a great tasting summer(year round) beverage. On the Zabe scale...
it's a solid A-List 4.5 out of 5. smile.gif

here at c-stores, the lipton green tea citrus was replaced with lipton iced tea peach, something i want to try. and about that manzana sol, was it in plastic or glass?

American Manzanita Sol is in plastic and cans.

I thought the Lipton Lemon Iced Tea was terrible. The green citrus is much more drinkable. Peach, eh, it was ok. I'm not a big peach tea fan, myself.

Regarding the manzana sol I brought.
It was a plastic 20oz bottle priced at $1.29.

Blech, I think the Lipton Green Tea is awful. As a tea drinker, I would say that Lipton Green Tea has as much in common with green tea as Snapple's White Tea has with white tea.

I drank a couple of bottles of the Lipton Lemon Iced Tea with dinner. At least for me, I enjoyed the taste and that the sugar/carbohydrates were not so over bearing. IMO, this variation is excellent. smile.gif Sure beats the socks off that canned HFCS crap they have the nerve to call ice tea.LOL

Those new Lipton Iced Teas have been selling like crazy here in SoCal in 16.9oz 12pks. We brought out a Diet Peach version which is very, very good...you can hardly tell its a diet...or actually I wouldn't have guessed it to be diet if it didn't say so on the label. I actually had to look to make sure there were 0 calories! Good stuff.

By the way, Manzanita Sol is a pretty well known brand in Mexico and we brought it into SoCal based on the heavy MultiCultural demographic. It has been doing very well for us here so far. We started carrying it in Wal-Marts and it quickly broke into our top 10 there.
