Does anyone know of any clear colas available? I remember them from the early 90's and even remember snapples line of clear sodas. I know they were a flop, but my kids are not allowed to have the syrup anymore and thought maybe someone would have some insight to a product currently available.

As a thought maybe you could add fruit juice and seltzer water to make a nice carbonated drink for your children. I'm not too sure but I would try mixing half 100% fruit juice (grape, cherry ect) and half seltzer water.

I like mixing Kool aid and seltzer water. YUM

You can use unsweetened Kool aid and sweeten it with equal or sweet and low. Any sugar free drink for the most part can be jazzed up with seltzer water. smile.gif

From what I understand the carmel coloring found in most colas is burnt sugar which gives us the "cola" taste (for whatever that is worth). That could be why you don't see more of them.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I want the OP(if he's even here anymore) to know that there's little difference between the syrups of clear colas and brown cola. Food coloring is the only difference.

Caffeine, for example, is the only chemical difference between cola and a lemon-lime soda (assuming flavoring isn't a meaningful chemical difference).
