I am not up on all the lingo. I'm just curious what is a BIB?

Great! I have been wondering when this would happen and was going to ask on the board if anyone had heard anything.

BIB is bag-in-the-box. It is the syrup that is used for fountain drinks.

Frozen Vault has already been spotted in Maryland, both at 7-11 and Royal Farms (Baltimore area c-store/gas chain).

If these ever go to Burger King fountains, the resturants owned by carrols corp. will NOT get Vault. I think I should start a petition?

They never had Surge, so I don't have much hope. :(

So, is it known what resturants will be getting fountain Vault?

The chain stores most often get their BIBs from a foodservice distributor, who gets them direct from Coca-Cola. Smaller accounts are generally serviced by the local bottler.

The original poster on this thread works for a bottler.. so my assumption would be that small mom & pop type pizza joints and such would be the first to get Vault BIBs.

Hey, keep us posted when these launch! I might talk to a local mom and pop pizza joint and see. smile.gif

Contacts I have say Subway will be seeing VAULT for sure come July. Though I figure most places will replace MY with VAULT when availible.

if coke wants to seriously take-on mountain dew, then they'll have to start selling vault in fountains (mcdonalds, subway, 7-11, etc).

I usually go to the gas station at the end of my street to get my 95 cent Vault. But today I went to this beverage corner store about two miles from here, and to my suprise, they were charging $1.89 a bottle for Vault there. And $2.75 for a Red Bull.

Too expensive...

Really, Mello Yello wasn't/isn't sold at a lot of McD's and NONE of them served Surge when it was around.

No point in putting things in fountain from the get go as its hard to convince anybody to choose it. VAULT has had one of the quickest turnaround times for a fountain I have seen in awhile (assuming you exclude testing)

This is great! I have been wondering when Vault was going to go to the fountains. I don't know if I will be drinking much though if you saw my post about what fountain drinks do to me. lol. Well, I will have to try it though because fountain drinks always taste different IMO.

Does anyone have anything new to report on this? Any Vault on fountains anywhere?

I doubt the Burger King that I used to work at will ever get Vault... Or update their drink selection anytime soon.

Maybe if Vault became a staple...

yeah, i deliver it to hardee's and both BK's in my area, and several of my gas stations. only 2.5 gallon bibs though. it's selling quite well. usually the way it's going is, if a restaurant or gas station has MY, they yank it and replace it with vault...actually, we're trying to get all of our c-stores to get rid of MY and switch to vault.

In the stores that you are replacing BIB 2.5 gls are the stores still selling 12oz cans and btls of MY? Just wondering as I bet the core customers of MY are getting pissed off. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif ?????

actually, we still carry MY 20's in MOST of our c-stores. if we don't have MY in a c-store, vault is there...which we have vault in every c-store. as far as 12-packs and 2-liters, we've only carried them in grocery stores. i've only got a handful of c-stores that carry MY 12-packs.

something interesting that a lot of you may not consider...many coke areas do NOT want vault 12packs in c-stores. they fear it's going to take away from the 20oz sales.

Yesterday I had fountain Vault from a Quick Chek convenience store. I also had frozen Vault at a Wawa convenience store a little while back. Great stuff.

As of about a week ago,my local Chi Town White Castle did not have Vault. :( It appears that the Chicago W.C.s gets new Coke BIB brands at the same pace of a snail running a 5K race.LOL

Even the Pepsi guys will admit this is just about the worst region for Dew or any other similar types. Also diets are huge.
