Do you work for the Coca Cola company?
I'm serious! You manage to get the most awesome marketing/art work I have ever seen. This one just blew my eyes right out their sockets!!!!!!

http://www.coca-colamexico.com.mx/share/img/promo/SUMA.jpg Why is the "C" in "Coca" in "The Coca-Cola Company" in the top right of this graphic the same style as the "C" in "Cola", rather than the normal "C" with the bottom of the C forming an underline under the rest of the word "Coca"??

I'm guessing it just a style thing and there is no
reason for it.

MrZ:
Mmm... nope, I didn't made this ad, is from the www.coca-colamexico.com.mx (http://www.coca-colamexico.com.mx) site (make click with the right button, next go to properties and you'll see)... but thanx anyway.

Sodascott:
This is because the guys who designed this ad wanted to save the work of search the "The Coca-Cola Company" logo, so they used the Loki Cola font instead and they only wroted the word, simple... but looks awful, they'd better use the logo.

BTW, If you have any question about the products that appear in this ad, I'll answer... welcome everybody!

Love your posts.

Couple of products I am not familiar with.

Joya? Escuis? Senzao?

SamC, thanx!, here's a brief description of every brand...

Joya: It's a product with more than 40 years in the Monterrey soda market, and this soda was property of a bottler called PROCOR (Proyeccion Corporativa) that later with the merge of other two bottling companies became Embotelladoras ARCA (www.e-arca.com.mx), but in 2004 this brand was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company, this soda were on sale before only in the mexican state of Nuevo Leon (Monterrey) and some cities of Tamaulipas (Reynosa) but with the creation of ARCA started expanding to some cities and towns of Coahuila (Saltillo, Monclova), San Luis Potosi (Matehuala), and recently Chihuahua, Baja California and Sonora. This product is available in this flavors: Apple, Grapefruit, Fruit Punch, Pineapple, Peach and Lemon. (Because of Joya, Fresca wasn't available in Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas but now it is, but Lift, Delaware and Senzao are still not available in that region.
The advertising campaign of Joya, "Sabor Irresistible" (Irresistible taste) is damn good! If you want to check it go to www.zonazero.com.mx, (http://www.zonazero.com.mx,) if you want to see the TV ads make click in the words: "soldados" and "videojuego", and if you want to see the print and outdoor ads make click in the words: "paracaidas", "palomas" and "brazo"

Escuis: is a product that has a long time in the market, in the fifties was named "Squeeze", it was property of the Coke bottler Grupo Tampico (www.grupotampico.com.mx), in fact, before the creation of Grupo Continental (another Coke bottler that is bottler here in my city) Escuis was on sale here in Ags. and other cities, in fact Embotelladora Ags. sold Squeeze along with Coca-Cola, Squeeze was like the brother of Coca-Cola in Aguascalientes and other states, but now this product is only available in some cities of Tamaulipas (Tampico, Ciudad Victoria) and some towns of Veracruz (Poza Rica, Tuxpam), a few years ago this product was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company. This product is available in the flavors: Strawberry, Orange and a strange one called "Hierro" (Iron) here's a picture:

Senzao: guarana flavored product that was released in 2001, and it's available in almost all Mexico (except Nuevo Leon and some towns of Tamaulipas).

Bottleboss, here's a description...

Manzana Lift: It's an apple soda, it was launched in 1995, and there's four versions: Regular (picture below), Green apple (not available in Grupo Continental territories like here), Golden and the new Ligera (diet). This product is available in all Mexico (with the exception of Nuevo Leon and part of Tamaulipas). This product is also in Colombia, but the color of the regular apple flavor is PINK...

Senzao=Kuat(From Brazil) which should be similar to Josta, which was sold here by Pepsi. Kuat was test marketed in the US in 2002 for a limited time.

Hmm, not really. There are some guarana beverages that you can find at different international foods or Hispanic stores.. Usually Antartica or Brazilia are the two brand names you'll see. They taste more like Kuat or Senzao.

Senzao is really good... I recommend it.
