The strangest drink? That's tough... maybe Cel-Ray?

The worst drink is easier... that Beverly stuff I tried at the Coca-Cola museum, New Coke, Cel-Ray (which probably doesn't taste so bad actually, but I just can't get my mind around the idea of celery soda... ick.). Anything with Saccharin in it.

I tried Starbuck's Caramel Frappucino yesterday (which is now just available in my area, even more proof I live in beverage wasteland). I like the other Frappucinos pretty well, and I thought I liked this one when I first tried it, but the aftertase is positively horrible.

San Pellegrino Chinotto. It's like an Italian kind of Moxie. It tastes horrific.

I agree with Cel-Rey and would include Manhattan Special maybe?

Chino... had it in Italy.

Speaking of strange drinks, I just read that the World of Coca-Cola will be expanding the "Taste of the World" section when they move into the new building in 2006/2007. 100+ different beverages will be available.

Aquafina flavored water

FlavorSplash (Yick!), and Diet Sierra Mist (before it was free...)

Cel-Ray takes the cake

President's Choice Chocolate Cherry Cola was SO bad that the commercials had people trying it, HATING it and the announcer saying, "It can't be that bad can it? Try it for yourself!" They sold a lot of it the first week and never again. It was discontinued in 3 months.

In US, Barq's, Diet Coke with Lemon and Diet Coke with Lime, no doubt of it.
In Mexico, Fanta Naranja-Chamoy (yum!), Pepsi Blue and Pepsi Fire (yuck!)

I would have to say the worst I've tried to date would be "Beverly" from EPCOT's Ice Station Cool. Although I've got to admit after trying it 5-6 times it becomes quite enjoyable.

Orbitz. surge was pretty odd when it first came out, but it grew to be one of my favorites.

Mountain Dew Pitch Black tasted like gasoline. Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray is weird.

I see Lychee Mello in that Epicot picture. How was it?

Howdy Hi,
This is my first post to this board after a few wonderful weeks of lurking. I am pop/soda and Gatorade freak. Due to the meds I have to take,I need the hydration of Gatorade and the burping pleasure of Sprite. LOL

My strangest beverage was when I lived in Israel.
They drink a beverage that is like a sweet malt brew that does not appear to have any booze in it.
Once you try it does taste better than coke or Pepsi. LOL It was cheap as well so I drank lots of it.

I love the new Gatorade Lemon Aid and Raspberry Lemon aid. I preferred the 20 bottles for a pure
continuous gulp buzz.

Thanks for being around I have so many other beverage likes/dislikes to chat about. I swear I must be a real beverage crazy man. For kicks I like to drink a 12oz can of sparkling water and let out a mega burp. LOL

I've never heard anyone mention this but what about Jones Cream Soda? I tried that and by the time I was half done I was feeling really werid even sort of sick. Has anyone else had a similar reaction to this? Not only making me feel sick, I don't think it tasted very good.

Yeah, not a fan of the Jones Cream soda.

That and the fufu berry.

I've never tried any of the Jones sodas and I probably never will. Based on what I have heard from other people who have tried them, I figure that they aren't too great.
