Has anyone tried this product yet? I checked the website and it says that it is only in Lousiana and Mississippi. Are there any plans to roll it out to the rest of the country? Thanks!

I know its in the frozen food section (You can buy those Barq's Floatz here in MD at Giant-PA and Food Lion), but the drink form is only in Barq's heartland of Louisiana and Mississippi. I think they were importing into Texas for a while, don't know if that has stopped.

It's not in Dallas, Texas anymore. CCE was importing it in singles but not 4-packs, but they decided to stop bringing it all the way from New Orleans. They are pretty nice, but not something I'd drink on a regular basis. Kind of a mix of half root beer, half cream soda.

I did find a Super Target store that sells Barq's Floatz ice cream cups locally. I like to pick them up every once in a while. They're a nice change of pace from ordinary ice cream.

We sell it here in Arkansas, but only when we can get it. It has a very stong vanilla flavor.

Why hasn't BevNet reviewed Faygo or Shasta or Crush?

Hi all! I love this board. I've been a soda collector since I was about 10 yrs old. I'm next door to mississippi and have some of the barq's floatz. Anyone have anything to trade for some?.. if any of you want some? I want to try the new jolly rancher sodas I've read about. Is there a trading ring on here?? Thanks guys!

I cant find anyplace on the net to buy Barq's Floatz. I found one site, but the guy was charging $10 per bottle, plus S&H, but he's already sold out.

Again, I can get Barq's floatz. I'd prefer to do some trading. Anyone up for it?

I can also can get Barq's red creme, and Barq's creme soda. Also, have the Dr. Pepper Cherry Vanilla, both regular and Diet.

The only thing you'd probably be interested in that I have that I believe is cancelled is Mello yello afterglow? Want any of that?

I don't vouch for this website in any way, but apparently you can order Barq's Floatz at a reasonable price here: http://www.bradonvical.com/rootbeer.html

I was hoping Piggly Wiggly's web site www.pwclub.com (http://www.pwclub.com) would have it, but they don't. They haven't updated their soda section in a while. They still list Mello Yello Cherry and Melon, and also Sprite Tropical Remix.

Damn 29.99 for a 4 pack...

I posted some on eBay and have more. I am not going to charge anyone $30 for a 4-Pack. I am simply trying to make these drinks available to other people.

Will this product ever make its way up the east coast? No?

I finally got to taste a bottle of Barq's Floatz courtesy of Keith1024's listing on eBay. It is my new favorite drink!

I hope it won't be discontinued by Coke. I would love to see Barq's Floatz in Michigan. It is REALLY awesome stuff!

I just bought 24 bottles of Barq's Floatz (6 of the 4-packs) for $29.99 at:

The packaging was superb! Each 12oz glass long-neck bottle was individualy wrapped in bubble-wrap, along with foam.

The expiration date was also awesome, set at December 5, 2005(6 months).

My grand total came to $48 when you include: the 24 bottles of Barq's Floatz, Shipping, Handling, and Packaging. It comes out at $2 per bottle when it's all said and done.

Obviously S&H will varry depending on your zip code.

I think it's well worth it for this hard-to-find product. Barq's Floatz is my favorite beverage.

I highly recommend the Bradonvical Beverage website if you plan on ordering Barq's Floatz in bulk:

Barq's also has a product called Barq's Floatz, that's a frozen snack that has root beer swirled with vanilla ice cream. It's pretty good. I like it a little better than the soda.
