I remember 7 Up and Cherry 7 Up gum. And I know that Jelly Belly has several jelly bean flavors modeled after DPSU products, including Dr Pepper.

Ohhh, I remember that! It was called GatorGum, when I was a kid, once I bought the lemon line ones in a drugstore and tasted exactly like the Lemon Lime Gatorade, BTW are they still on sale?

Does anyone remember the Chupa-Chups brand cherry cola lolipop?

I ate so many of those when I was a kid, I got sick of them.

Pepper Jerky??? :D

The lip balm has been around forever, although a different company made it when I was a kid, and the stick was much bigger in size.

You can get the current lip smackers at Walgreens too.

I've gotta get some of this:

Funny you guys were mentioning this candy. Last night, I came across a full box of this candy in my collection. Thought I'd share:

Speaking of popsicles.. wasn't there a sun drop sherbet cup or something like that? Is that still produced? I couldn't find anyone to ship me a carton.. just the packaging ;)

YUM the 7up and DP candy look so good.
When did they come out,my guess is around 2000?

04-04-2006, 08:47 PM
I think the Sundrop Sherbet was a Food Lion exclusive. I know Food Lion had/has a Cheerwine ice cream.

04-04-2006, 11:23 PM
There's even a soda flavored BBQ sauce.

Where's the Dr Pepper sauce? Someone's gotta try marinating stuff in it. :D

Honestly, when every home has running Dr Pepper, then we'll be living in utopia.

04-05-2006, 10:55 AM
Zabe, the candy is from 2003.

Drpep, are any of you near a Food Lion? I've like a box of the Cheerwine and Sun Drop if they still make it. I'll pay for all your troubles or trade something.

04-06-2006, 10:36 AM
No Food Lion near me. Wonkapete, I still have your stuff. I've got to get rid of it soon. The grocery store I work at is closing and I have to relocate. I promise it will hit the mail sometime before May.

Rob The SURGE Drinker
04-08-2006, 08:13 PM
is that syrup like waffle/pancake syrup or is it soda syrup? because if it was soda syrup, you could mix some with some soda water and have yourself a homemixed dr pepper! sure, it would take some expiramenting, but who knows

Mr Zabe
04-08-2006, 08:23 PM
I'll bet it's used for mixing with soda water.
Although eating the syrup with pancakes and chasing them down with soda water does sound interesting.(*If the syrup was diluted, I would imagine full strength would be too overbearing.)
