I could use some feedback on Sunkist Orange soda pop. It's been a while since I have last had some.
Has it been improved at all? Which is better orange crush or Sunkist?

A friend is stopping by with a fridge pack of Sunkist Orange.

Both are great products...probably the two best oranges. Sunkist is cadbury's primary orange but i think crush would probably sell more if they supported it. Diet sunkist is really good too

crush is a classic (though i can't remember what it tastes like... it's been decades).

i didn't realize that, both, crush and sunkist were owned by cadbury though.

I just drank a can of Sunkist Orange.
It was not as biting as I had expected. It was pretty sweet yet IMO very drinkable. For an orange soda pop without a trace of real orange in it, I was pleased with it.

I think I will enjoy it even more when my fridge pack cools down. I would score this soda pop at 4 out of 5 and worthy of my A List line up.

Sunkist Orange is loaded with caffeine - 40mg per can. Coke has 34, Pepsi has 37.5. Mountain Dew has 55.

You should try Baumeister or Boylan's Orange. Great stuff.

Does Welch's (Coca Cola) make an Orange Soda? I would like to try Tropicana Orangeade, or even the discontinued Slice Orange...

Welch's is not a Coca Cola product.
I'm about 98% sure it is a CS product.

Coca Cola has Orange Fanta & Grape Fanta.

Cadbury uses the Welch's trademark under license, like the Sunkist trademark.

I only remember Welch's grape, strawberry, and peach.

But keep in mind that Popboy is from Canada - things are different up there. But I thought that Coke had C-Plus?

i like crush best...now

i used to love orange slice... pepsi ruined that for me...trop twister isnt good its more like crappy fanta... Minute maid orange was really good too lol

Food Lion got Diet Sunkist in for a millisecond while they were having this big diet soda sale on the diet Canada Dry, Diet Rite, Diet A&W, those sorts of things.

I liked it at first, but not so much anymore. I still have about 4 cans.

I believe C Plus is licensed under Cadbury as well here in Canada. I still find it better tasting than Crush Orange, but Minute Maid Orange imo is the best, it's only available at fast food restaurant's here though.

I think there is/was a Welch's Fruit Punch that may be carbonated.

Crush is good. I'd rather have slice than sunkist though. Slice is probably my favorite orange pop. Then crush is right behind.

Jeez how did I miss this topic? Sunkist all the way. Best tasting mass-marketed orange pop on the planet. And the sugar version I got from Sun Drop Bottling is just phenom. With some caffeine to give you an energy boost, honestly, why get anything else?

Until I got interested in VAULT, this was pretty much the only soda I ever drank (besides a BAWLS here and there for variety). No other mass-market orange soda comes close - weak or off flavor.

I agree with you.
I have been enjoying my fridge pack. It has a real nice sweetness that keeps my interest. I will for sure buy it again on sale. LOLOLOL

You missed the great sale the other week at Walgreens. With rebates came out to $1 a 12 pack (had to buy three though; I split the deal by getting 2 and my friend got an A&W).

Anything else in the orange department is merely sewer sludge mixed with orange Jolly Ranchers.

Ok, perhaps orange Tic-Tacs dissolved in dirty (but carbonated) dishwater.

Crush is quickly vanishing thanks to DR Pepper Seven Up company or Cadbury Schweppes whatever they are calling it now. It is ridiculous one of the original and best tasting orange sodas is being discontinued left and right. We need to get Crush back on the shelves in Cans and 20oz bottles because we grew up drinking crush. We should voice our opinion to the company. Write a letter to them. I guarantee you that if they had a taste test between Sunkist and Crush Crush would win hands down. Something like 98% Crush 2%Sunkist. Just recently they started discontinuing Crush in Chicago where i live. Yeah i still see it on shelves but it is vanishing quickly some stores no longer carry it and the ones that do are qucikly replacing the crush shelf space with sunkist. If seven up wont produce it than Pepsi should buy the rights to Crush it would be a huge hit for pepsi, and a bigger seller than The Tropicana flavors they recently produced.

I do agree.
When I was a kid. Orange Crush was one of the best selling non cola soda pops. I remember buying it by the glass bottle at my summer little league games. Most times I was more excited about what soda pop I was going to drink than the actual game. LOLOLOL

I would love to see Orange,Grape and Staweberry with cane sugar in the bigger glass bottles (12oz?) for sale at the regular grocery stores. I say bring back those clunky 8 pack for $5 each!!! What a pleasure that would be. smile.gif

Cadbury owns too many fruit soda brands. I think they should sell at least one of them to Pepsi.
