Brand new here in England today. I think this is the best Coke Zero logo yet, I know a few of you commented in a previous post on the logo, but that was just a mock up picture for a press release. Here is the real thing!

Those are nice graphics! Definently should use those in the US.

I agree. Those graphics are awesome. A very eye grabbing design that catches and holds one's attention. IMO....this design would be a big hit here in the states. smile.gif

those look a lot like the ones they have in australia-a lot better looking than the labal we have here in the u.s.

a black label would definitely distinguish it from diet coke.

Yeah, I like the black also. Finally they made a package that doesn't look like every other thing they carry!

it may seem trivial, but... i think that label alone would increase sales significantly (particularly with males).

Looks gtreat and all, but the ice cubes could be left out, gets in the way of the ribbon.

Although you can't see them in the pictures above. On the can within the ice cubes design are what looks like an eskimo kneeling down, and some high rise tower blocks.

On the PET bottle are some CCTV cameras, and what looks like an eskimo drilling into ice.

Got to see Coke Zero in my store today, 6 packs and 2ltr bottles. I bought 2 bottles as at the moment 2ltr bottles of Coke (all varieties) are 2 for £2.
I filled a shelf full of it and it sold really well all day. Alot of people had never heard of it, but saw the Zero thing, relising it was just like Sprite Z or Dr Pepper Z.

This article says that coke zero grabbed. 7.3% market share in Australia... in under six months! That's really impressive.

Thanks for the info,
Ive had a white Coke Zero can from the US for a while now, so after reading this forum, I guess the US is the only white can or is Canada too?
I do like the black better.
Where else is planed for a launch? Europe?

Canadian Coke Zero has the white label and can also... it's the same logo as the american logo but the only difference is that the "Zero" word is red instead of black...

I do think that the white version looks alot like Diet Coke. The Zero lodo seems to change between countries, black for US, red for Canada and a kind of "splinted O" for the UK

I went to Target today and the label for coke zero on the soda fountain was the UK one. Really weird.

Apparently the "UK logo" will be the fountain label. I have seen it at Target, Wal-Mart, and Sam's Club. And I do not live in a CCE served area.

I really wish that Coca-Cola would tell it's employees and the press, correct info about what it is doing. It seems to me that we on this board know more about what is happening than the people running Coke.

3 examples.

The 1st is the article that Ramon posted a link to, it states that Spain will be the 1st European country to get Coke Zero. Obviously false as it is here in England now.

The 2nd example, when I contacted Coca-Cola Great Britain 2 weeks ago about Coke Zero, they told me that Coke Zero would be released sometime later this year, but they didn't have any release dates, even though in 1 trade magazine there was a full page advert announcing the countdown to Coke Zero had begun. 5 days later it shows up in supermarkets just as the press release says it was going to.

The 3rd example, last year there were various articles in the trade magazines announcing the arrival of Coke with Lemon. Apparently England was the test country for it and would be the 1st country in the world to get it. Japan steels our thunder and releases it 2 weeks before England.

Muppets!

And now they say that Spain will be the first european market that releases Coke Zero...

There are people who do not condider the British Isles to be part of "Europe" proper.

Coca-Cola Zero is now available today in Spain... and basically it has the same logo as in UK...

http://www.conocecocacola.com/img/cont_titulo/ccz_h.jpg

The corporate website of Coca-Cola Spain www.conocecocacola.com (http://www.conocecocacola.com) still argues that Spain is the first european market that releases Coke Zero. Diario ADN also says that, but they consider UK as another market that released Coke zero...

Coke Zero in Australia and New Zealand use a simular black can design. I thought it looked much better.
http://members.dodo.net.au/~grindercom/cokezero.jpg

Maybe because there are so many USA energy drinks-colas that used dark colored cans that kept Coke from using black here? Theres too many diet colas that use white cans..

I saw an ad in todays paper The Sun (UK) for Pepsi Max, it read:

Pepsi Max - max taste - zero hype.

I thought it was quite funny!

I thought it was quite funny! pepsi max (pepsi one) has the most to lose i guess... since it was the original zero-calorie cola aimed at males.

i've barely heard or seen a peep out of pepsi one since coke zero's release hear in the US. but i'm not sure if that's because it switched to splenda, or just because coke zero left it in the dust. any thoughts?
