We finally got them in this week, we had the transitional logos for a month or two (the non-metallic split S logo), but now we have the metallic split S logo in. I really like it and have had customers comment on it already(all positive). Any thoughts on the new logo?

i saw a sprite commercial the other day... the one with the asian girl/scientist and the patient with a mouth where his eye should be.

it was a little bit creepy. but, then, i'm probably not in the target demographic.

The one of the "lemon and lime" sumo fighters splitting the head of the guy with their bellies... it's really awesome! and the voice off is really creepy!: lemon... lime... lemon... lime... lemon... lime... lymon.

The only thing I don't know is why the guy is dressed like if he is going to a prom...

I agree this is a great logo upgrade- not only is the new logo the coolest in the category- but at the same time it is also a HUGE imporvement over the extremly lame and out of date old logo. Bravo!

Sprite has long been on cruise control watching its category slowly decelerate. But now is the time- 7up has literally fallen off the map (though the current "natural" push might help) and Sierra Mist has ground to a complete halt in volume expansion despite the media blitz. Its clearly time to retake the forefront of the consumers mind who have become increasingly less interested in the lemon lime concept.

I like the new logo too, I also like the new ads, those old ads were not as cutting edge as they were in the 90s, finally the coca-cola exec's woke up and brought sprite into this decade.

Another new logo I noticed...Diet Coke with Splenda, anyone else see the new logo for it yet?
It's a minor update but looks nicer than the previous design.

today, both 20 oz completly changed over, and the 12 packs are half and half of new and old, in both zero and regular, but all the actual cans inside are old logo still...

Yeah the new ads/logo are awesome. I was suprised they haven't changed it since the earily 90s. All my old sprite cans would all say copyright 1994 as oposed to 2005 or 2006 on the coke cans.

That logo was the longest Sprite logo used in Sprite's history. It was about time it was updated, every other country got their Sprite logo updated in 2003.

As far as the new graphics for Diet Coke with Splenda they are not online yet, I just looked....the fridge packs in the store still have the old cans in them also so I did not buy them. Not as much yellow in the new design, i'm assuming too many people thought it was Diet Coke with Lemon, plus placing it at the end of the line-up next to the Diet Coke with Lime doesn't help either.

And personally, I think the new Sprite logo is just okay...it is better than the old one. And the "lymon" thing is just plain dumb...

That's true!... one day I saw the Sprite "sublymonal" ad in youtube.com and after seeing it I wanted to drink a can of Sprite... I went downstairs to the vending machine and I bought one... and like Homer Simpson, I said...

The other day, I saw something that caught my eye. It was Sprite in a new style 12-pack (with the can on the box), but with the old logo! I bet they didn't make many of those!

It's a nice change. It gives Sprite a much more youthful look. smile.gif

</font>
</font>
Nope its fact- see the volume numbers for last year over at beveragedigest.com 1.2 growth (2005 saw 1.0 share loss.) For a relatively new brand with that much promotion that is not good pattern. No doubt though that it is one of Pepsi' top 5 in most markets(even though they spend to promote it like its #2 or #3

In regards to the old-logo Sprite in the new-style 12-pack, they just recently switched to the new-style 12-packs for Coke products in my area (except for Black Cherry Vanilla), so the old-logo Sprite in the new-style 12-pack is a rare find around here. I doubt I'll buy it, though!

My mom picked up two fridge packs of the new logo sprite. I hated it in the past but I can bare with it now.
