View Full Version : Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper with the new logo??

Today, I saw Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper with the new Dr. Pepper logo for the first time. However, I have not seen the regular version with that logo. For a while, it made me think that CVDP was discontinued because the logo hadn't been updated. Has anyone seen regular CVDP with the new logo?

I have fridgepacks with the new logo, but the cans inside haven't changed. Same with the new logo Diet Dr. Pepper I have. And I have also seen regular CV with the new logo, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

has anyone seen the new dr pepper 20oz? not the angle bottle, and not the standard dpsu bottle. it's quite chic, really.

No I have not seen the new bottle. The DP website has a picture. Arund here Coke uses the angle bottle for Dr Pepper and Pepsi uses what ever Pepsi comes in, although Clintons Ditch Dr Pepper bottles are slightly different that CD Pepsi bottles.

I saw the pic on Dr. Pepper's website. That makes me VERY happy!

New Logo here in Canada too, bought some at Walmart.
Is it just me or does Diet Cherry Vanilla, taste a bit different? The last time I bought some, (w/old Logo) a few months ago it didn't have such a pronounced Vanilla taste.
It could be my tastebuds, or the fact that I bought cans, (when I first tried it) versus the 2 Litre bottle I bought Yesterday...

I think the Diet CVDP is a bit different than regular. I like it because the vanilla is not as strong.

IMO....when all is said and done, good old Dr Pepper tastes the best. Lately I have been cooling down 500ml bottles and tipping them back for pure enjoyment. Dr Pepper IMO stands above any of newer varieties.

Yep, looks like CVDP and DCVDP are going to be around for a while longer than originally planned. DPSU would not have invested in designing new packaging for a product that was going to be discontinued.
BTW, has anyone spotted 8oz Dr Pepper with the new logo yet?

Mexican Dr. Pepper still has the old logo... :(

I understand that Dr Pepper is pretty hard to find in Mexico. I had a friend try to get some in Monterrey a few weeks ago and couldn't find any.

Maybe it isn't available at Monterrey... but here in Aguascalientes, some stores are plenty of Dr. Pepper, in supermarkets like Soriana and Wal-Mart, and in some little grocery stores...
but still has the old logo... :(
