I found some Pepsi Edge this morning at my local 7-11. It replaced Pepsi One on the shelves. It tasted pretty good. There wasn't much in the way of diet aftertaste. I think it might sell fairly well, because it does taste okay and has half the calories, but as many people have mentioned it's not going to do much for the Atkins people because one 20 oz. bottle does have over 30 carbs which is more or less an entire day's worth of carbs.

I thought this was comming out in August? Alot of people are going to like the fact that it has Splenda.

I knew about Pepsi One getting the boot. Atleast the packaging looks alot better than Pepsi One's.

Hmmm, I thought C2 was going to e the first to come out, looks like they're coming out at about the same time. No sign of it here yet.

C2 is set to launch tomorrow. We're going with 20oz and 8pk cans at first, 18 packs to follow later.

I tried Pepsi Edge today. I think it tastes great 4.5 out of 5 for taste.

The graphics are very nice as well.

Tried Pepsi Edge. no diet aftertaste. Nice taste. 13 grams of carbs per 8 oz. that would put about 20 grams of carbs per 20-oz bottle. The 20-oz sizes are the only ones I saw today at a local store. Arrived in Western Washington today.

I found it today, was only available in 20 oz. I tried it and could barely detect a difference from regular Pepsi. I'll be drinking this from now on, due to the lower calorie amount.

Tried Pepsi Edge and I agree too; No aftertaste for the Pepsi Edge!. I was expecting that metallic aftertaste that sodas have with Splenda, but here.... nothing.
Kudos to Pepsi for their Cola development. The flavor is full and the mouthfeel is great. The C2 product was very THIN and has that typical artificial sweetener taste. Maybe Pepsi can tie in with Atkins with this product ?? tongue.gif

Edge is not only seetened with Splenda...only a small amount. Adkins would not approve.

Er... Can I hear a BIASED?

Anyways, I've tried them both, and in my area the after tase of C2 is minimal, leveling the playing field considerably...
