I am looking for a company that would be interested in distributing my drink. I am working with a very famouse athlete and we are going to be selling a drink named after him, so we are looking for distributors in the United States. Thanks

Tell us about the drink. Cola? Energy? carb/non-carb? What?

Wow we got some funny guys out here!! Do to my contract, I can not talk about the athlete/celebrity until we get serious. If you have a company that can perform these services, then we should talk. If not, keep your day job as the comedy is weak.

No Offense man but if you throw out there on your opening that you have a "very famous athlete" that is going to use his namesake as the name of a drink you better be willing to tell people what the name is.
From your post you seem as though we have to have serious talks (negotiations) before you divulge such information.
You asked for interested parties. Why would I negotiate with a drink company that can not tell me the name of the drink upfront or who is "pitching" it?

Jason, I am familiar with many distributors out here in CA, some of which might be able to help you. But the other guys are right. You cant really say "Help me sell this, but I can't tell you what it is, so just agree to sell my product and hope it goes well." If you cant give any info, then maybe wait for untill you can, then try to sell.

You're right I should keep my day job, that is unless you want to hire me to be as successful at pitching a new product as you seem to be.

Jason, c´mon, don't get upset... you have to mention the most important attributes of the energy drink: flavor, packaging, etc., so in that way somebody that sees this board can be interested in distribute your product (and you can mention now who's the famous athlete who supports your product). Remember that the energy drink market has a lot of players, big players and small players... and you have to demonstrate if you're the best...

And don't get mad, if you show that attitude in front of an interested distributor who probably likes to joke, he/she would probably deny your product.

Please guys, this guy is looking for help, and you aren't really showing him that the BevBoards are very serious. Who cares who his athlete is? If you can't put forward a helpful post, don't put any at all.

Brutus, who ever it is good luck with it. Make sure you didn't pay for the exclusive rights to broker that product. There are quite a few companies out there with athlete endorsements. If you are thinking of starting a new brand and are negotiating with a celebrity, make sure you have deep pockets , (very deep pockets)and a great product.
