I see it all the time. I wish there was a simple sweetened tea from this particular brand. I just can't get myself to try the green tea purely for the way it looks. :( No comment needed. LOL

I haven't seen that around, but as soon as I do I'm picking up a lot of it.

Zabe,
Can you not find the blue stripe ( lack of a better term) Lipton, either in singles, 6pks or 12 pks in your neck of the woods? It is sweetened w/ No Lemon.

LOL
I love the good old Lipton Tea in the glass 16.9 bottle and cans. I dig the taste. I have guess the plastic btl 6pks green line is just that..green tea.

Because I trust you guys, next time I see it on sale at Woodmans I will buy the some and report back. Thanks for the feedback.

I saw a commercial for this stuff and got excited, hoping that it was a new, lite and refreshing drink.

That isn't what it is, though. I think it's still too sweet. It's trying to advertise itself as a more health-conscious alternative, but it's really just HFCS water with honey, tea, and mint flavors rather than a cola or normal tea flavor.

SEV

This is the mid-line tea that Lipton/Pepsi produce.

Real brewed tea is in the 16oz glass, powder mix tea in the 2L/12pk/1L/20oz under the name Brisk, and the above tea is in the middle -- usually just in 20oz and 16.9oz (12pks and/or 6pks).

The green citrus is ok, but the "plain" tea in that line is undrinkable.

I love the stuff too, but it tends to sell out at my store, and I have to wait a couple weeks to get in new stock.

There was a bottle shortage this summer -- the plant in Wytheville VA couldn't keep up with the demand for the 12pks of this tea as well as the 12 and 24 packs of Aquafina. It was out of stock all over the place.

i remember being short on green tea but not aquafina - the bottler we get our product from must have saved all theirs for aquafina

In the area I work in, the Pepsi bottler is a small independent. So I am sure that PBG takes care of their sales centers first, before the indies.
