I jest read on one the message boards here that
a coca cola driver said to someone that Black Cherry Vanilla Coke will be discontiued in 2007.
Does this mean Vanilla Coke might be coming back?
Will Coke with Lime be gone soon?

the problem with these flavored colas is that they're not bringing people back to soda; they're just fragmenting what's left of the cola market.

Why BCV Coke? WHY? :(

Why BCV Coke? WHY? Because it's awful. Bring back Vanilla! Which I am 75% sure will happen.

Also is it now time to stock up on black cherry vanilla to sell on ebay in another year?

Diet Cherry is staying.

i've recently been alternating coke zero with diet cherry coke. most likely, i'll switch to coke zero cherry when it comes out... assuming i can find it anywhere. ;)

Coke with Lime has already disappeared, at least in the stores I work in.

Just back from a trip to the Left Coast (Southern Cal)..

1. Could not find any diet coke cherry in any size no matter where. Did find some 21 oz. diet black cherry vanilla but thank goodness this abortion of a flavour will be gone soon.

2. Diet Coke slime no loss...it was horrid to begin with (as was diet coke lemon long since RIP).

3. Had a lot of difficulty finding diet cherry vanilla dr. pepper...found one fridge pack at a Target in Buena Park and a couple of 21 oz. bottles at a 7-11 in Buena Park but for the most part no luck.

4. Came back home to NY and again found it difficult to find 1.5 of diet coke cherry which my nearby Wal Mart had been selling. Also found it extremely difficult to find coke zero the past couple of days...don't know what's going on there. Also diet cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper has become increasingly difficult to find.

I know it's not a conspiracy against my tastes but what's going on?

Regular cherry vanilla Dr Pepper is becoming scarce in these parts. So I gave it another chance, and really liked it this time. Ah well.

I think someone said that Diet Coke Cherry would remain available in fridgepacks only. As it is, it's only available in fridgepacks and 1.5 liter bottles around here, so this doesn't really change much.

bcv coke is 100 times better then vanilla coke - in my opinion

I think they should get rid of BCV Coke and Pepsi Jazz, and bring back Pepsi Vanilla. The diet stuff is so much worse than the regular in my opinion.

Cherry Coke Zero should be available in 1.5/2L, at least initially.

The end of this month.

so cherry coke zero is replacing diet cherry coke on the shelves then.

i've noticed that all diet cherry coke bottles have been sold or pulled, and only 12 packs remain. i'm assuming that's to make way for cherry coke zero. smile.gif

there is a big push on diet cherry coke at my local woodmans store, 12 paacks are on sale with coupons saying "buy 3 12 packs of any diet coke product and get one 12 pack of diet cherry coke free!", 20 oz bottles are 80 cents and there are buy-1-get-1 free coupons on the coolers.

Diet Cherry Coke will remain in 12 packs, at least for now. Logically, if the numbers go down significantly, while Cherry Coke Zero gains, we could see the 12 packs go away as well.

do we really need TWO diet versions of coca-cola?!? hmm.

Technically, Diet Coke isn't a diet version of Coke.

Diet Coke came out in 1983. New Coke came out in 1985.

Diet Coke isn't a diet version of either version of Coke.

And I was referring to Classic.
