Its much better than the UK version. Ours looks like someones just stuck the word "cherry" on a normal Coca cola label!

I say its an upgarde just cause the old label looked a tad too similar to the normal coke label, just with pink.
But it really should have the ribbon.

I found these new Cherry Coke 12 packs tonight at my local grocery store. We got the last two. I think the packaging is cool and kid of 50's looking. If you look closer there is a city skyline behind the cherry. And yes the cans look the same as the box.I think it's cool. However the writing does look like you took a Coca Cola box and just wrote cherry above Coca Cola. I wish they would have written Cherry Coca Cola and not Coca Cola cherry. Looks kind of stupid and out of place.But I guess everything can't be my way.Lol. Anyone know if this is a tempory thing or are they going to leave this packaging this way for awhile?

i think coke is moving towards "simple" packaging this year. just look at coke zero and now cherry coke.

IMO... there's no simple packaging compared with the Coca-Cola label from 1996 to 1999...

The Coke packaging in the late 90's was very cluttered and sloppy looking, not just on Coca-Cola but all their drinks that got package updates at that time.

Cherry Zero fridgepacks also have the "skyline" look.
