I looked at that website.
My gut tells me that the Mountain Dew brand (Pepsi Cola corporation) did not nor would not need to Beta test a product by blind solicitation on the Internet. I would be very careful giving personal information to a website that has no verification regarding the rules and terms of the Beta test.

As my dear old departed great Grampy Zabe use to say....." There is no such thing as a free lunch".
and "If it sounds to good too be true than it is too good to be true."

Great Grampy was a wise man. smile.gif

I tried overpassing the "company name" and they wouldn't let me fill it out without a company name. Oh well.

For some reason I woke up one morning when I was 18 or 19 and the name "Connie Vandelay" just came into my head. And it stuck.

Does anyone have any idea of what this new flavor is supposed to be? I haven't even heard of a new mountain dew that is supposed to be coming out with the exception of electrocution which I have about given up on.

I'm not sure of this, but maybe it's mountain dew with energy drink, (in other words, the direct counterpart of Vault), because in another Pepsi sites of the world I saw a version of Pepsi called "Pepsi X" that is Pepsi mixed with an energy drink.

Just a supposal...

So is "energized" the new industry word for higher than present soda pop caffeine levels?

It seems like a big fancy way of saying drink more caffeine and you will be energized. LOL Is this just a simple marketing ploy and not a new kind of actual energy drink?

Once again us consumers are at the guiding hand of the silly suits.

Watch it'll be that mountain dew energy that canada has I bet you. I have no doubt about it. That stuff is loaded with caffeine and it has guarana.

The Pepsi brand says MDX has the same taste of plain Mountain Dew, but is fueled by a "power pack" of ingredients including Ginseng, Guarana, Taurine, and D-Ribose.

It also has more caffeine. The new Dew contains 47mg for regular MDX, and 50mg for diet. That's compared to 36mg for all other Dew flavors.

MDX also debuts a new type of bottle for Mountain Dew called the "PET bottle". It's a 14oz, easy-to-grip bottle that highlights the neon green color of Mountain Dew.

Mountain Dew MDX rolls out nationwide on November 1.

i found it at one store here in VT. i got some and MAN is it good! it's cheaper than an energy drink(usually), better tasting than an energy drink, and frankly, i felt a HUGE burst of energy about an hour after drinking it- way more than an energy drink.

this is the answer to my prayers. tongue.gif
