View Full Version : Cherry Crush locations?

Like my previous topic question, another soda I want to try not available in my area. What states is cherry crush available? I would like to buy some off of who ever is the closest to me. I know their available in Michigan in the 20 oz glass bottles? Or is it the plastic bottles? Just want to see if there is another state closer to me that has it.

Hi There,
In all my young years (LOL).....I have never seen Cherry Crush any where in Chicago. I would love to try it myself.

Cherry Crush???? Wow I want to try that!

05-20-2005, 03:30 AM
it's made by intrastate distributors in detroit, michigan.

available from detroit to Lansing (Canada Dry of Lansing) in 16oz glass and possibly 2Liter bottles.

I know i've seen it in cans, just not recently. Any cans would be made by American Bottling of Darien/Northlake, Illinois.

05-20-2005, 03:31 AM
oh, and it's really good too.

05-20-2005, 05:37 PM
So anybody here in detroit area that can maybe hook me up with some?

05-20-2005, 08:33 PM
I drink it all the time in Grand Rapids Mi.
It is great! Most stores carry Orange, Strawberry and Grape and when I ask them to get Cherry and they do it sells good.

I have to have this soda! Can anybody get it? I would prefer the smaller 16 or 20oz bottles rather than the 2 liter. The problem with 2 liters is that you have to drink the whole thing quickly other wise it goes flat right away.

I talked to the fellow at sodafinder.com and he said that there is a rumor that cherry crush is available in 20 oz bottles in New Hampshire. It would be so great if I could get 20 oz bottles. Is there anybody here in or near New Hampshire that could maybe find it?

I wonder if I could just contact the company that makes crush sodas directly and just ask if they could ship out some cherry crush. I hate it when a drink is so popular yet nobody seems to carry it. When a drink like pepsi is popular, you should see it everywhere.

Cherry Crush can be found in 20oz PET in the Houston, TX area.

05-23-2005, 08:13 PM
Crush is owned by Cadbury-Schweppes. I'd email them and ask where the Cherry Crush concentrate has been shipped to.. so at least you'll know where it is being produced.

Are they any places that sell it in Ann Arbor?

05-23-2005, 11:24 PM
oh yeah, try a meijer's gas station. i think there's one on washtenaw.

got a farmer jack's near you?

also, yeah where do you live? the stuff is insanely heavy for a package - the bottles are really thick glass.

i think first you should get a hold of your local pepsi bottler/warehouse in canada and see what they can do about it, before resorting to high shipping fees.

really good stuff - Crystal Soda Water in Scranton PA produced it in cans until a year or two ago, but no more.

I think it is in Rochester, NY from Cro-pac.

05-26-2005, 12:56 PM
I'd love to try it. I've never seen it.

05-26-2005, 05:56 PM
Anybody that has it in their area and can get it, please email or PM me.

In Vancouver, BC (and western Canada) there's a chain kind of like 7-11 called "Mac's"

Anyways they sell slurpees called "Frosters" and right now they're carrying a Limited Edition Sour Cherry Crush one!

It's Awesome! I went back for another today!

I havent seen regular Cherry Crush in any form here though

This stuff seems harder to find then water on mars. I have still been unsuccessful on getting this drink despite some few saying they can hook me up with some. Can somebody really help me out and get this drink for me?

I bought some from sodafinder. It was ok but not nearly as good as I hoped it would be. I would say it has the exact flavor of a Minute Maid Cherry slurpee. The best Cherry I've tasted was called Regent Cherry. I found just 2 by mistake in a Big Lots. Have never seen any since.

Heh I was in a beer store today with my Dad (Rochester, NY) and they had a soft drink section in the back. I was surprised to find loads of plastic bottled Crush Cherry, along with some other cool sodas like Inca Cola and some Brazilian Guarana drink. I didn't think the Crush Cherry was rare or anything so I didn't pick some up. My bad.

Check the production date before you drink it.
Beer stores in general do not sell that kind of soda pop very well. It could be old product.

The code is probably: Number of day of year produced.

Y/day of year
day of year/Y

so 2003-January 20 would be 3020 or 0203

I didn't even know they made it. We do have orange / grape / strawberry crush in the Baltimore area.

I always like Cherry RC but I haven't seen that in years.

Pepsi bottling of Buffalo used to make Cherry Crush until Corporate Pepsi bought them out awhile back and it disappeared from the area like most of the Dr. Pepper/Seven Up group of pops. Once in a while Cherry Crush can be found in a local service station if you are lucky

I will never forgot buying an ice cold 16 oz bottle from Vito's Deli when I was kid. It was always a debate the 16 oz Cherry crush or the 12.5 oz Squirt bottle. Either way I never lost.

Hey BringGlassBack, I saw you PM'ed me, but idk how to reply so I'll tell ya the store was Beers of the World on Winton Rd. It's in a little plaza with an Applebees and an Ace Swim store and stuff. If you pick some up, leave some for me, I still plan on going back to get a bottle or 2 :-P

World Wide News in downtown Rochester has it.

Found Cherry Crush in the Detroit area in 16 oz. Glass bottles(Oct 2005). Also found Grape, Orange, and Tropical Punch Crush. Made my month. Rochester no longer has Cherry Crush. The bottler Cro-Pac no longer appears to be bottling Cherry Crush. Nothing finer then my Cherry Crush glass ice cold. I should have bought more then 5 cases.

Check my eBay profile. mosbydee

I just listed these drinks 30 minutes ago. I'd get them, because I do not expect them to last.

I talked to our Pepsi rep here in the Wilmington, NC area. It only looks like Orange and Grape will be available here. Before I moved here, I tried Strawberry Crush in Danville, VA and fell in love with it. I may have to go up there and see if they have that in 12pks now. Planning on going to Norfolk area soon so I can try Cherry.

Cherry Crush is presently owned by Dr Pepper Seven Up in Plano Texas. Info is from can in my hand as I enjoy one right now.

:completely lost:

Looks like an old post revised but as far as I know Cherry Crush is a national product now. It is in every store around Central California and has even replaced Strawberry Crush in some places. Personally I have close to 20 twelve packs waiting to be sucked down over here. Great stuff to say the least. :p :p

I received a regional sales flier for Papa John's pizza.
They now sell both orange and cherry Crush along with
Coke soda pops.

Found this yesterday at Bezios Fresh Market in Olympia Fields. In 2 liters...

The 7-11 near my house has it in 20 oz bottles, and it's the only flavor of crush that they currently carry right now.
