Has anyone ever been here? Just wondering if they have International Sodas too? It looks like they have just about everything else.

A few of us have been there. I was there three years ago, I think.

The place is a beverage haven! There was a whole section of glass bottled sodas, plus individual areas for different countries. I remember buying Dutch Fanta Orange.

They have remodeled since I have been there, and added even more stuff. I'd like to go back someday soon.

The biggest section was the British section, but other countries were well represented as well. They also had a wall of hot sauces, and aisles of tea and coffee.

Go - you won't regret it!

That's a pretty interesting looking place. If I had known about this it in the summer of 2004, I was only a few miles from there in Lexington, KY. I would have liked to check it out.

I will have to check it out next time I go to a Reds game. Its only an hour and 30 minutes drive from Columbus.

I was there today. Got some orangina, frostie rootbeer, and the best deal of all-Diet Dr Pepper 4-packs , three for $1.
They have everything!

So is this place in Columbus, or Cincinnati or where? I wanna go!!

Outside of Cincinnati.

Specifically, it's about a half hour north of the city, in Fairfield. I'm curious if anyone that has been there recently knows what they currently have in stock (Specifically Dublin Dr Pepper, WJ Longnecks, Dutch bottles). I might end up making a trip to Cincinnati this weekend, and if I do, I want to try the WJ stuff for the first time.

Actually, for those of you in the area, The Party Source in Bellevue, KY has a great selection of soda in glass as well. They also have soda syrups made with Pure Cane Sugar in gallon jugs. The lemon-lime stuff is awesome.

Here's your answer. They have WJ longnecks of 7-up, Dr Pepper (reg and diet), A&W. Boylans-eight varities, Dublin Dr Pepper, Mexican Coke, 4 flavors of Frostie, Cheerwine, Gales rootbeer, Suoix City Rootbeers, Faygo's, every variety of Jones, Stewarts, Coke light, dutch coke, barrillos, topico chico, virgils rootbeer, goose head island long necks, vault 99 a six pack, crush, sunkist (WJ), the hot ginger ale that begins with Bleh..., egg creams, orangina, dad's (several kinds), jolt (several kinds). I am only scratching the surface.

If you don't mind me asking, how do they sell the WJ stuff and the Dublin? Singles, sixers, cases? And what kind of price? Thanks.

04-28-2006, 02:05 AM
Dang, apparently they are stocked up right now. It's the time to go! smile.gif In the past, sometimes their stock has been a bit thin, leaving me disappointed. I really want to see if the WJ DrP and the Dublin are remotely the same, or if Dublin is better. I have one older Dublin in glass, and I've been craving more lately.

They only sell in singles there... the Dublin were a bit pricy at $1.79 I think, and the WJ were about $1.29 if I recall.

I'll be black listed for saying this, but I thought WJ DP was better than Dublin redface.gif Maybe it was the extra 4 ounces ;)

04-28-2006, 01:13 PM
Excellent, I will definitely have to have a taste-off between the two. The WJ is certainly cheaper in cost, but I was worried about Dublin having some magic voodoo, as it tastes unlike ANY Dr. Pepper I have ever had.

I want to stock up a small bit before the summer stuff hits, so that I have one of each on hand to do a comparison. I hope that the summer stuff is good, but I suspect it may lack a bit compared to our standby products.

Does anyone know if they still have any of the passover Coke? I might be heading there this weekend. Thanks.

No KP coke. I live in the area. I got my supply at BIGGS at Cincinnati Mills mall in Forest Park. That was three weeks ago, however.....

I was in JJ's a week and a half ago, on a Sunday night. It was dead in the store, so I snapped off a few pics.

They also have alcoves for different countries, and a few aisles for British stuff, Indian stuff, and so on.

Holy mega facings! Very cool pictures.
I have never seen Tab fridge packs getting 3 facings
at my local Chi Town grocery stores.
It's also cool to see the shelves so well merchandised for a Sunday night.

That is cool! Any West Jefferson stuff? Looks like I can see Nehi Grape and Orange.

Great Pix, fusion: don't let "Jungle" catch you snapping them though. I could use Sunday night pictures of all the supermarkets in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Pennsylvania... are you up for the challenge? hehehe. ;)

Not to stray from the beverage content... but Jungle Jim's also has the largest section of HOT SAUCES I have ever seen. I suppose if you had an iron constitution... you could consider hot sauce a beverage!!?

It is worth a trip if you are within four hours... plan on spending some serious time there.

There may be some WJ Sundrop further down, near the Kickapoo, I'm not too sure. I should have taken another shot from the other end.
