I was on a road trip with my family and we stopped off at a gas station in Lake Delton, Wisconsin. I was trying to decide what beverage to buy when I saw they had Cheerwine! I grabbed two 20oz bottles.

Wow! That stuff is good. It tastes kind of like Red Fusion. (Although it's not exactly the same.) I really wish I had bought more than 2 bottles! I'm drinking the second one at this very moment.

wow that makes two people that found cheerwine this week for the first time ever.

noticed it for like 69cents in a fridge at gas station when I made a road trip up to "The House on the Rock" earlier this week.

Picked up a few regulars and a diet, havent tried it yet though!

It's way smoother than Red Fusion.

There is a Pepsi bottler that covers northwest Missouri and western illinois that carries Cheerwine. I have seen fridgepacks and 20 oz. bottles.

Could please get the name (info) of the Pepsi bottler? I want to find out if there is a retail outlet near Chicago that has Cheerwine. Tks

AD Heusing would be the closest bottler to you. They go as far east as Lee County.

woah, thats nice to know, rockford is only 30 minutes south of here, and then i can keep going south with a western curve at the end and get me some cheerwine!

Ahh, here goes my first post...

I just also found cheerwine at Woodmans on the east side of Madison, WI in 12 packs... about 45 minutes total for you Rob. They had regular and diet. I didn't get any, because I was in a hurry.

Maybe cheerwine is starting to expand into SE Wisconsin? I just heard a commercial for it on the radio last week, too.

And wow, there are a lot of people from SE WI and Northern IL here!

Heh! Glad you got some. How is cheerwine, and specifically, the diet cheerwine? Woodmans is not the *close* grocery store for me (it is about 20 minutes), but I may make a special trip to shop there this week if it is worth it.

Lemme know!

regular is real good, but be sure to have it when its cold, and the diet is odd... it tastes just like diet dr pepper imo... and it uses splenda

also, chuncken, is that woodmans the only place where it is available?

05-16-2006, 11:00 PM
Well, it is the only place I have seen it. I regularly shop at Pick n' Save or Sentry in my town (Sun Prairie), and I occasionally go to Woodmans. There is a cub foods near that same woodmans, and they could possibly have it. I'm not sure. As for places closer to you, I just don't know. I don't frequent Janesville or that area much.

Like someone said, you may be able to find it in Rockford, but you are shaving at most 10 minutes off of your drive.

If I see it somewhere else, I will let you know! Maybe I will take a trip over to that area tomorrow to get myself some. (And check Cub foods.)

BTW, how much was a 12 pack?

Rob The SURGE Drinker
05-16-2006, 11:04 PM
the 12 packs were 2/5.00

05-16-2006, 11:13 PM
Yeah, so now I'm going tomorrow at that price!

I have so much soda at the moment its not even funny. I bought 4 12 packs (Coke Zero, Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke, Vault Zero, Sun Drop) along wiht some gatorade last week, then this week my local store had a sale of 5/10$ coke brand 12 packs, so I got the same stuff mostly, and tried a Cherry Limeade pack, and now I am going to buy cheerwine tomorrow...

I will have enough soda to last me until I leave for college in August and to piss off my dentist for a lifetime :D
