Just came back from the local drugstore and they had the new Dole Sparklers in stock, 3 flavors were available "Pomegranate Blueberry", "Cranberry Rasberry", and "Pink Grapefruit".

I picked up all 3 but so far I only tried the Pomegranate Blueberry, overall it has a unique taste, a tad sweet but still refreshing nonetheless.

Anybody else try these yet?

Do you know what % juice they are?

It doesn't say... just says "Real Fruit Beverage"

Above the nutrition facts should be the percentage of juice

The only reason I ask is to find out if it's more like IZZE, which is good, but not all juice, as opposed to The Switch, which is discontinued, but was literally carbonated fruit juice, and was lovely.

The Switch will be making a comeback. An investment firm bought the company.

Our Canadian nutritional labels are a bit different Fusion, unfortunately there's absolutely no indication as to what % of juice is used, which is suspect...

I'm drinking the Cran/Ras right now and it's very flavorful, and overall both flavors so far are very similiar to Switch's offerings (maybe even better). Dole (Pepsi) surely has a winner on their hands with these fruit beverages.

I'l try the Pink Grapefruit Tomorrow... an "Orange Tangerine" flavor is supposed to be on the market as well but I didn't see it at the drug store, I will definitely look for it though, since I love orange soda's...

Thanks Popboy, it sounds like it may make its way southward. We need more products like this on the market.

fusion, thanks for the good news. A product that good shouldn't die.

fusion, thanks for the good news. A product that good shouldn't die. No prob DJ... I just tried the Pink Grapefruit which is good, not to tart or sweet like other non carbonated Grapefruit Beverages (Minute Maid)but just right. Still the Cranberry Rasberry is the hands down favourite for me.

Dole Sparklers will finally be available in October for American consumers... I wonder why Pepsi released it here in Canada first?

I am sure it is only enough to classify it as "fruit Juice" and not a drop more.

Dole Sparklers, an invigorating, low-sugar sparkling juice, is made with real fruit, B-complex vitamins and 50% less sugar and calories than a regular juice drink. The light, refreshing beverage comes in four flavors: pomegranate blueberry, orange tangerine, cranberry raspberry and pink grapefruit. Available in a single-serve, 16.9-oz proprietary plastic bottle with a distinctive "bubble" design embossed into the packaging, the product launches in October.

I justed pick up a couple of each flavor. Up to now I had not seen these around my parts. They are cooling down and soon I will taste them and offer my two cent arm chair review. LOL

(They were on sale for 99 cents each. Seems a little pricey even for a introductory price?)

Around here they sell for the same price as the 20 oz. Pepsi products. Which means that "premium pricing" strikes again, though in this case I feel it's at least somewhat justified.

Just my two cents.

Dole Sparklers was a major let down,
at least for my taste buds.LOL

The combination of HFCS,trace fruit juice and aspartame blend together IMO to taste like degraded semi sweet baker's chocolate encrusted by mold. smile.gif

What a shame that the Dole brand name was used to sell this liquid crap. There are much better drinks to enjoy than DS. IMO

10% Juice. Pretty tasty I thought. I didn't taste the aspartame at first, very well hidden.

Pepsi is ruining not only Tropicana, but the Dole name too now with poor products.

For shame.

I tried this stuff out in San Diego and really liked it. I think Pepsi made a mistake branding it as a Dole product however. Dole=pinaples, not sparkling fruit drinks.

These drinks really aren't very good. I had such high hopes too. :(

I haven't bought any of these in months... they don't seem to be picking up much here... I guess due to premium pricing ($3.47/6) and non-existant promotion's. Oh well. :(

They don't seem to be picking up anywhere. I do not sell much of them. It is sad to say but I sell more sierra mist 20 ounce than dole sparklers.

If these were real juice, I would SO try them. But its cheaper to make a disgusting "low calorie juice drink" consisting of watered down juice, HFCS, and artificial sweetener...

They have sold very well when Kroger runs 10/$10 but when priced at the regular 1.68 they sit but not as bad as the other Doles, I have a warm shelf and cold case and have to constantly send back outdates because with the exception of the OJ they never sell.

We've pretty much phased out putting single serve juices and juice drinks in our warm sets, and instead replaced them with energy drinks, Godiva, and Gold Peak.

Coke is shipping 6pk 10oz bottles of Minute Maid juices direct to store warehouses... but Food Lion is discontinuing them next week.

I know The Switch was good for you (all Juice), but it had some funny after tastes. I really like Juice Squeeze by Crystal Geyser, it is 70% Juice and 30% Sparkling Water with no sweeteners.
