The KFC/Taco Bell in St Marys,Pa has Code Red in the fountian. Is this a common fountian item?

i am not sure how common it is everywhere, but i am pretty sure all taco bells have MD Code Red.

Popeye's Fried Chicken has Code Red in the fountain.

Not around here.. Popeye's has Coke products in their fountains.

In North Carolina Arby's and Bojangles have code red in their fountains also. I believe they also have wild cherry pepsi.

Speaking of fountains, has anyone else seen the new Coke fountains with built in flavor shots? they're pretty neat. The beverages are mixed in the nozzle, and I've seen four different selections on one nozzle in a Subway.

Here the Sheetz convenience stores have it on fountain in every one. Their exclusive contract w/Pepsi is no more, there are now 2 slots, 1 for Coke, and 1 for Diet Coke now.

We only have one Sheetz here, and that place sells a ton of cases for us. It's really out of the way for me, but I do like to go there once in a while for a sandwich or some death dogs. Yummy!

Sheetz heartland here. I can be in 100 of them within about a 60 mile radius, and I don't live near incorporated towns even. We have tons of them, and everyone is full. They're growing more and more, so those not seeing them yet, they'll probably come soon. They're into Pittsburgh now, they're pushing into Washington DC, and southward they're down as far as Staunton, VA now. 5 years ago they weren't south of Winchester, so right there is a 90 mile progression.

You are not kidding when you say they are full. I have never seen a Sheetz at anytime of the day or night with less than 5 customers. Mornings they are packed. I've been places with a Sheetz on one corner and two other convienence stores across the street and the Sheetz is busy while the others are ghost towns. I quit stopping for lottery tickets at Sheetz when in VA, WV or MD because I can not spend time at the counter looking over the selection with all the other customers around.

Sheetz are as far south as Roanoke, VA now. And Richmond.

Haven't been in Roanoke for a while. Guess they're really expanding southward.

I've seen the Code Red on tap here in San Jose. The flavor shots have also been around for a few months. Strange, I don't see Barq's on Tap at the convenience stores around here, but I do see it at some fast food places & restaurants.

I have not seen Mountain Dew Code Red on fountain here. But I have seen Barq's Root Beer on fountain. Does anyone think Sprite Tropical Remix will make it to fountain???

After about a year, Vanilla Coke made it to fountain. I like to make a 50/50 mix of VC and Cherry Coke.
There was a TSR Slurpee out this summer. I don't see it going to fountain, though. Too marginal of a flavor.

I wish Vanilla Coke was offered more in fountain here. I've seen it once. I rarely see Cherry Coke except at Sybra-franchised Arby's (mine has Pepsi), which is the main place I see it here.

Sheetz is now down to the NC border, stores in Martinsville and Danville (just opened), like everyone else says, always packed with customers. Noticed they had Jones sodas, an oddball for this area (didn't notice if they had the turkey soda tho ... yeeech.)

WOW. I think soon enough Sheetz is going to take over the country. People love them, and they seem to just be growing and growing out of Altoona. It's amazing anything can grow out of the wasteland that is Westcentral Pennsylvania, one of the most economically depressed areas in the country.

Jones is sourced through Sheetz' own warehouse, that's why you see it in all their stores.
They make some killer sandwiches. Always long lines for lottery, food, and gas pumps are always busy.
For those who live in the Maryland/Pennsylvania/Virginia area.. I wonder how the Sheetz Vs. Wawa war will play out, if they ever go seriously head to head. Both rule their own roosts, so to speak. We have a ton of Wawas around here, and they are converting most of them to offering gas as well as the store part.

I think I know Sheetz' secret. It's that red & yellow color scheme. Generations of Americans grazing at McDonalds have probably created a genetic tick that subconsciously draws us towards any red & yellow building, expecting something to eat.
Wawa is a new one on me, haven't seen them in western or southern VA yet. Waiting to see when Sheetz puts their first store in NC, can't be far away.

Wawa is in southern Virginia, there is one in Petersburg, on South Crater Rd. Right off of 95. They are also in VA Beach, Richmond, Yorktown, and a few others.

Sheetz wins. They sell lottery tickets, Wawa does not. Plus Wawa sponsors Bobby Hamilton Jr in Nascar. Dr Pepperman does not like Bobby Jr.
On the discussion forums at roadfood.com Sheetz burgers are getting a good review for fast food burgers.

According to the Sheetz website they are opening soon in Greensboro and Winston-Salem.
So the NC invasion begins.
Never heard of Sheetz before but i'm sure they will be to the Triangle area soon enough.
