View Full Version : Miniature Coca-Cola cans

I love collecting soda memorabilia. One of the cooler items I have found are miniature Coca-Cola cans. They are 150ml aluminium cans. I bought them overseas. They had all different brands eg. Pepsi, Canada Dry, Dr Pepper, and others. I get a kick out of peoples reactions when I hand them a mini Coke!! Has anybody seen these cans for sale in North America??
I am heading overseas in December, I will have to bring some back. smile.gif

No, but Coke is making 237ml (8oz) cans now. We sell Coke/Sprite/Diet Coke/Seagram's/Minute Maid Lemonade, but I have also seen Vanilla Coke, and Mello Yello/Mello Yello Cherry/Mello Yello Melon when I was in the Carolinas a few years back.
My (CCBCC area) local stores are full of 8 oz Coke cans (most products) right now. The intension is that they are a candy alternative for Halloween. All of the KO brands are available, including diet versions.
But at $2/six pack, they are a little pricey for me. I can buy a tub of Tootsie Rolls for $4 and take care of the entire neighborhood.

Central here is pushing the 8 Oz classic, and I think maybe sprite abd diet.

Some Targets have 8oz Dr Pepper with the 8oz Coke product.

Cleveland TN produces all the 8oz for CCE that I've seen.. As well as for the smaller bottlers, like Philadelphia. They have Pepper rights in Cleveland, so it wouldn't suprise me.

Here's what I've seen here in 8 oz. cans.
Central has Coke only
CCE has Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, MM Lemonade, MM Pink Lemonade, Vanilla Coke.
I've also seen 7Up, dnL, A&W, and Sunkist but only in American Bottling territories.
Pepsi in some areas has started distributing Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Mountain Dew in 8 oz. cans. It was a PBG area, but they must be regionalized like CCE, because we don't have those here.
I've never seen Dr Pepper in these 8 oz. cans from any manufacturer.

i have a bunch of those little european cans. way cool..
How about minature bottles? I was traveling down in southwestern Virginia last week (near Norton) and stopped in a conv. store and they had 13.8 oz bottles of KO products, selling along side the standard 20 oz bottles. Coke, diet, and Sprite. Bottles were the trademarked shapes. Selling for 89c.
CCBCC produced. Never seen them in my CCBCC area.

I believe the bottles you are talking about are the 13.2oz PET or grabables. CCBCC has had them for a few monthes now. Grabables replaced the 10oz glass we were carrying. I would of thought CCBCC would have them in all of the areas by now.

Yes, they were the 13.2. I saw them when I was in the Lexington Virginia area this summer. Coke/Sprite/Diet/Mello Yello.

You can get those mini cans in any UK supermarkets. Last time I was there (last Xmas) I could have bought maybe 20 different types of brands.

I buy 160mL Classic Cokes (Japanese, I believe) from stores in Chinatown here in Toronto and also from T & T Asian Supermarket in Thornhill (northern Toronto).

I assume this is an independent bottler, Epic Enterprises from Ayer, MA (codes AE and EA) are producing all the core pepsi brands in 8 oz. cans now. Pepsi seems to be selling them everywhere around here now - even in PBG territories. I found them as far as Pittsburgh and Ohio.

What is really up with the minitures? Did coke have to much back stock on KMX cans, so they decided to fill them with Coke? I have seen them placed with all the other energy drinks. And at $1 per 8 oz can, not very cheap when you can get a 12 oz for 80 cents, or a 20 oz for 1.29. Anyone know why they made these cans with coke?

They're a novelty thing.. People think, how cute, a little Coke can. Company makes a killing off of them.

I've seen 7up, Cherry 7up, RC, dnL, Sunkist and the majority of COke's products in the 8 oz cans.
