I haven't tasted Sprite Remix in a long time. Why would they discontinue Sprite Remix.

What are you talking about? Sprite Remix wasn't discontinued.

Perhaps he is speaking of Tropical.

I wasn't talking about the berry kind. I'm talking about the Sprite Tropical Remix.

Tropical Sprite Remix is still readily available in south Texas in 20oz plastic, 12 packs of 12oz cans and 3 liter bottles. It's right alongside Berryclear Sprite.

I liked Sprite Tropical Remix and the Berryclear Sprite. I wonder why they discontinued it in Oklahoma.

I saw some 12 packs of Tropical Sprite Remix at an EZ Mart in Tulsa last Wednesday. Almost picked some up.

I live in Muskogee. They have some in Tulsa. I think they discontinued it in Muskogee where I live.

It's been discontinued in Tulsa as well. My guess is it's leftover stuff and once it's gone, that's it.

Here in Mexico, we have now the chance of trying Sprite remix, Sprite launched a summer promotion: in the purchase of one 600 ml bottle of Sprite and one peso (.10 cents) you can have a little pack of one Remix flavor: tropical, berry or orange, you pour the Remix pack into the Sprite bottle and you can enjoy the Sprite remix like in USA. The bad thing of this promotion is that is only during Summer.

Oh well. There's other kinds of soda pop out there. Last time I saw Sprite Tropical Remix was at Kmart.

I was told by Coca-Cola customer care out of Atlanta Tropical sprite remix is discontinued.

It was good while it lasted.

Bad news for Sprite fans. When Coke starts to discontinue it's products in some areas, that means the whole product will eventually be taken away. Trust me - I know this from what happened to the Mello Yello flavors Cherry, Melon, and Afterglow.

Why would they take away the product?

They discontinued Sprite Tropical Remix because Coke is rotating the flavors of the Remix brand. Tropical, Berryclear, possibly cherry or grape in the future. I'm sure you'll see Tropical in the future, as Berryclear will be gone next year. Also like in Mexico, we had flavor packets (called "Flavor Hits") available to add to 20oz Sprite. They were available in Grape, Cherry, and Mixed Berry. I had them and thought they were sub-par. I could get the same flavors by dropping 8 or so pieces of Skittles candies in a bottle and shaking. :D tongue.gif

Wait for Sprite Ice to hit the States. It's very good. Much better then the Tropical and Berry flavors.

I wonder what states Sprite Ice would be in.

I like the Berry, but can't stand the Tropical.

sprite remix is going to have its flavor changed annually, tropical last year, berry this year, who knows whats up for next year. Grape? maybe lime to compete with the new Dew Baja Blast. the possibilities are endless

can you believe its been 10 years since Sprite and diet Sprite changed there main logo?

what happened to Sprite Zero, it was supposed to replace diet Sprite in the US?

anyways this is the longest Sprite has gone without changing there logo and tagline on their ads.

We'll be getting Sprite Zero here in September.

What surprises me is that while in almost all countries have changed the Sprite logo, like here in Mexico, in USA the logo is the same as ten years, the only change they made was that in the packages they put a lot of people dancing and making a lot of things, It's good the old logo but a great change is necessary, and to be honest I prefer the new package here in Mexico, with the new script (like the one used on the tropical remix logo) and the S made with sparkles.

And I forgot to tell you, In Mexico for the Remix promotion Sprite is using the blue bottle. Like the one used in Korea.

Here's the ad of the promo:

If you want to see a bigger ad see:
You need Acrobat Reader to see it.

I agree the new Sprite logo is better, The 1994 logo is good too but it still would be nice to see something new. The graphics with the people in the background was a short term "promotional" thing and is no longer on the packages here in the US.

You are right only the US still uses the old graphics, I don't know why.

Even though there's the difference between cola, and clear, Pepsi Tropical version never did well, is what I heard, way back in the day. Never tasted Remix, and maybe it didn't do as well for the same reason as why Trop. Pepsi failed.
