Road Trip back from Las Vegas...

I am making the mistake of driving back from Las Vegas the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I am flying there on Thanksgiving with my family because rates are pretty cheap. But on that Sunday it carries a pretty good price tag with it. Anyway, to keep my mind off the traffic, and the 10 hour drive back to the San Francisco Bay Area, I heard there is a great soda stand somewere in the desert or just outside of the state line. Is this true? Anyone know were it is? Any recomondations for the long ride? I'd like some excitment to get me through the desert and Barstow.

I have never seen the soda stand on my monthly trips trough the desert.

FYI don't ever buy gas in Baker, $3.73 at the Chevron last week.

I will be driving there August 16th from the Bay Area for a meeting and some sampling. I will advise if I see any stands for you.
