Just wondering if its time as come. I noticed it was nowhere to be found yesterday in my grocery. They've had several cases sitting for quite some time.. now they are all gone.

I saw an add for Tab at WalMart about 3 weeks ago, I had NEVER seen any Tab around here before that. I got some, and then the next day, EVERYWHERE I went that sold energy drinks, now sold Tab.

Working at Safeway I actually found a customer buying several 4-packs of it who actually likes it. I had a pleasant conversation about it with her. First person I've met who likes it.

So it must be doing well! LOL...
Usually when a fairly new product like that is seen in a 99 cent store its because the company had some stock that was going to go out of code before it could be sold through in a traditional manner.

sorry (4) the confusion, LOL

"It was selling for four for a dollar"

I would not B suprised if it was four four packs for a dollar on my next visit. I remember I did not like it in the 70's and I do not know if I would try it 4 Free now.

I figured...just joking around. That's still a crazy price! From $1.99 each down to $0.25 each...

We just received a fresh pallet of loose cans from Snyder (CCBCC) production. Coke appears to have overproduced for the initial launch, but it seems to be selling ok. Since it's only 10.5oz, I think it should be priced below the 16oz drinks, personally.

4 for a buck?

Damn, I'm paying like 2.99 a can!

Seems like maybe Coke overanalyzed the need for a energy drink skewed for the female consumer. I think the majority of the female e drink consumers I have spoken to are happy with sugar free versions of the market leaders!

I forgot to mention, that being an avid TaB soda drinker, it makes me angry that Coke invests Millions of $$ to create TaB energy and I have to travel 70 miles to buy TaB soda. Maybe they should try to re intro TaB as a diet soda and quit messing with diet coke.

By messing I mean, diet Coke w Lime, Coke Zero, Diet Coke with Splenda only etc.

Coke Zero isn't made from the Diet Coke formula.

Trying to sell to the same consumer though. I don't think they will convert many non-diet drinkers to Coke Zero. So they are just canabalizing the diet coke brand.

I think I agree with that. Coke Zero has not turned out to be a destination brand for Coke. I think we agree that was due to Coca Cola's lack of brand management. I know we have chatted about this issue in prior posts but it still pisses me off.

I do not drink diet soda pops but IMO Coke Zero is an outstanding soda pop that deserved an outstanding marketing effort. The old saying goes, some business make money in spite of themselves.

I saw a commercial for it the other day, which was the first one I had seen. I guess that is a good sign for the product.

when it first launched, it was selling well. now, here in my area it's fallen flat on it's face and we've pretty much pulled it out of every convenience store, especially now that we picked up Boo-Koo.

i think i saw a commercial for tab energy the other day. it said something about "raspberry flavored energy FOR WOMEN."

i guess men aren't supposed to buy it. but when i tried it, i liked it.

yeah, coke has said from the get-go it's going to be an energy drink marketed towards women. it's a good idea, problem is, they haven't been marketing it much as far as commercials go. it's all over in women magazines and such.

Your posts are hard to read with all those numbers. Why not take an extra second or two and type out "to" and "for"?

Mr Zabe

Is there anything else I should not do in my posts 2 annoy U ?

(In the sentence above 2=to, and U=you.)

I try 2 talk as civilized as my age allows, and not use any offensive slang words, I even google words I am not sure how 2 spell in most cases as I am posting.

Sometimes when responding 2 parts of a thread it is good 2 read the entire post.
Cstorecatman politely asked me about my use of letters 2 replace some words and I politely answered him, and it was a pleasant exchange.
