I was happy and sad at the same time. Sad, because I saw Jones Energy Drink in Costco, that part did not make me sad, I was glad to see that company is still growing. But their price was at $14 per case (that is with a $4 instant savings), but even at $18, thats crazy for an 24 pack. Here is my thinking, they are shipping direct. Thats the only thing that made me sad. Playing for both the supplier and distributor, I can see both sides. The distributor, who works hard to make a profit and sell these drinks, is now drasticaly undercut by the supplier, and any store can go and stock up for what is probably cheaper than the distributors cost. The supplier side, Jones says they have the right to sell to who they want, and this is why they have now became profitable. Cutting out the middle man in many things. I dont know what they sell their drinks to distributors for, or if this is shipped direct. But a $14 per case energy drink, I just hate to see a product that can sell, price its self for a closeout price.
The HAPPY SIDE, which actually does the same thing as Jones I guess, so maybe I am just hypocritical. Is I found BOYLANS at Costco. Its a 15 pack mix box (5 Root Beer, 5 Orange and Cream, and 5 Black Cherry), and it was only like $8...thats a great deal.

Those Boylans flavors sound good, I hope Costco has them in LA.
I have been buying myJones at Target in the 12 pack 4 about 3 4 $10.

can't beat that price for the 12 oz cans...and yeah...The Boylans flavors are extremly good...my wife can not stand fruit flavored drinks, and she could not believe how good the Black Cherry was

The Costco of my area doesn't have them... of course...
One question... does Costco U.S.A. sells Kirkland Signature Soda like here in Mex?. Once my parents bought a 2-liter six pack of Kirkland Signature Diet Cola and they liked it... BTW, is Costco store brand but is made by Cott.

Ron, leave it to the Club Stores to squeeze the margin out of the category. Sounds like the water category 6 years ago. I can still remember when stores would pay $12.00 for a case of NAYA or Avalon Water. Now you can buy 4 cases for $12.

Kirkland is Costco only.

A little off this topic,
Costco has their Kirkland brand on Goetz Jelly Bellies.
I am pretty sure Kirkland is Costco only.

in canada right now we have the steaz sodas in stock, those are really actually not too bad. not too sweet, i like them.
kirkland cola is avaiable in canada, i did see some at a costco in the cicago area a couple months ago.
kirkland signature is costco's in-house brand. you will only find these prodcuts at costco, or smaller stores who purchase items from costco (mostly independants) costco is headquarted in kirkland, WA, hense the name Kirkland signature.

CostCo has become "the distributor" for many products. You can pick up a case of RockStar 24/16oz cans for $24.99! $25.00 is what distributors are paying. There are a few companies that I know, that depend on Costco for 95% of thier sales....very unwise.

Here in Mex. Kirkland Cola is available in 2.5 liter 6 pack, Diet Cola in 2 liter 6 pack, and Cola, Diet Cola and Flavors (Lemon Lime and Orange) 12 oz. can 24 pack.... all made by Cott...

I stopped at a CostCo here in Michigan today, and I found many of the same deals.
They also had cases of Monster Energy for $27 and Red Bull cases for $19.99, TaB Energy for $15 as well as my favorite -- Goose Island Root Beer bottles by the case for $12. Goose Island is amazing.
Not to mention, cubes of Pepsi products for $6...

RED BULL for $19.99 a case? Are sure it wasn't a 12pk?

Question: Costco sells a Grape Soda, Kirkland Signature, very good, I thought, Can anyone tell me who makes this stuff (I mean who really bottles it) to me it tasted a lot like Welches ?
I tried calling the corporate office and they said they could not tell me. ?

I could not find Boylans at Costco in LA or near Sacramento.
I did purchase A 24 pack of thomas Kemper there however.
I will never do that again, LOL.
the flavore were,(in order of how I liked them)
Orange and Cream,
It tasted like it was poured from an old chip board container, made from an old piece of furniture.
I was really really dissapointed I LOVE Orange and Cream sodas.
and Ginger Ale,
It tasted like it was brewed with adhesive bandages.

It was in the Costco in Livermore, CA...I couldn't find it in my local store in Danville. So I wounder if only a few stores got in shipments, or they are just testing it or what.

I was in BJ's wholesale club today, and they have 12 packs of Monster 16oz, Tab Energy 10.5oz, and Jones 24 variety packs, in addition to their normal stuff, like the 36 pack Pepsi cubes, 32 pack Coke slabs (shrinkwrapped with cardboard trays), and 4 packs of hi-coned 2 liters.
