One question Guys... I know it's about a serious and critical issue but I had a real doubt about it...

I heard in the news that U.S. airports are strengthening their security because of the alert given by the british authorities, and I read that one of the security measures is not letting people enter to the plane with any kind of liquids or bottled beverage, so that means that in my next trip I would not bring american sodas to home :( ... Is this temporal measure or it will be permanent?...

The way that I understand it (anyone else jump in here), liquids are banned in CARRY-ON baggage. I have not heard anything about all baggage.

Things are changing regarding air travel. I heard today that they might even ban all carry on bags as well.

I'm flying at the end of the month. Either way I will call the airline and ask what is allowed. I would recommend you do the same. smile.gif

The liquid ban is only for carry-on luggage so far.

And in the UK, many airlines have banned carry-on luggage altogether, save for things like medecine, keys, wallet, etc.

Times are certainly changing.

I am wondering how long it will be before everyone strips and gets an anal probe in the waiting area before loading the airplane and just have to fly naked.

Yes indeed, there was a Hooter's airline that had Hooter's gals and all. I never flew on the airline but I heard that most of the passengers were adult men. LOLOLOL

I think there was only 2 or 3 planes. IIRC they flew out of ohio and went to NYC, LA and Las Vegas. It was only a few destinations as the ride was more important than the destination.

Actually, Hooters air ran out of the local airport here, Lehigh Valley INTL Airport (I know you've never heard of it), so it was bigger than you think.

They had flights by me at Gary, IN and I think they just went to Las Vegas.
