Wow... completely different, with a more original script than the old one...

i like it better
I have always liked Sierra Mist.
I even liked the lemon lime drink Pepesi tried before that. Does anyone remember that one? What was the name?

Never really cared for any Pepsi Product that wasn't it's flagship.
Sierra Mist/Slice etc, never really wowed me.
To each his own!

Pepsi Light from the mid 1970's was a strong lemon flavored cola that was way before it's time.
The soda pop mass market had not developed a
taste for strong citrus flavored colas. It did not do well and was discontinued.
IMO....it had a wonderful lemon taste. IMO...it was way better then Coke or Pepsi's current lemon colas.
It would be a dream to have Pepsi bring it back. smile.gif

i like the new logos as well

The new look is ok. I would like it more if they changed the name to S.M. Slice. smile.gif I rather they improve the product before they improve the label. ;)

What years was this out. Was this just before Sierra Mist? In the region I grew up in, St.Louis, there was Slice. And I've been out in Colorado for 6 years and don't remember that either.
Any pictures of this product?

Storm was in very limited areas. It was a caffeinated lemon-lime drink.

Somewhat looks like the old logo but seems to be more modern, something that will appeal to the younger generation of today like me. I like it.

That's why I don't remember it. Slice was the last caffeine free lemon lime before Sierra Mist.

Way better logo. Storm was a pretty cool concept too.

Not to mention it tasted pretty darn good. I liked Storm. The Pepsi bottler in southern NJ produced it.

Storm was known to be test marketed in: Colorado (Denver/Colorado Springs), California, Indiana (Indianapolis), Philadelphia, PA, Omaha, NE, and Southern New Jersey.

It appeared to sell well here in Indianapolis. Before Storm, Pepsi sold Teem here. This was back when we had PBG before the trade with Pepsi Americas.

By the way, I think the new SM graphics are pretty cool. I especially like the Sierra Mist Free graphics - it appears they took a cue from Diet Pepsi by making the background a lighter shade of the regular version's color (green in this case), instead of the normal white or gray.
As a sidenote, the only reason why I even heard of Teem during my childhood was because one old fountain at a local restaraunt still had a Teem label. At the time, I thought it was Pepsi's answer to Tab.

Around here Teem stayed until Storm was launched. We had a ton of Slice flavors at one time with Lemon Lime being one that obiously did'nt taste or sell well. Lemon Lime Slice was long gone before Sierra Mist hit the shelves.

I like the new look better as well, but really,..... so what, who cares.

That makes the second or third time the label has been redone in what 3 years...I agree with the masses fix the product and don't worry about the label.

We should remember though that Coke and Pepsi worry more about marketing and consintency of product than quality. Label change is part of that.

Sierra Mist also released recently a new design in its web site: www.sierramist.com (http://www.sierramist.com)
This site also shows the new Sierra Mist ad, featuring comedian Kathy Griffin (weird, considering that Pepsi RARELY uses TV and music stars in their ads -sarcasm-)
