I know that bromine is like a poison. But it's what makes the dew the dew. And I love to dew the dew.

Wouldn't be the same without it! This is the ingredient that usually raises an eyebrow.

Wikipedia - the online free encylopedia THAT ANYONE CAN EDIT.

That says it all.

Most articles on Wikipedia do have references. If something doesn't, you'll usually see "citation needed." If you need to be absolutely certain of something, it's best to verify facts with other sources. However, even the big name professional encyclopedias have been shown to contain numerous errors.

Anyone that has any experience with Wikipedia will notice that the quality of many articles can vary drastically. However, it's a great spring-board for information and even includes a lot of interesting information about soda.

Must have been a common oldtime remedy, leading to the expression "old bromide".
Fish, grains and nuts are rich sources of bromide.
