View Full Version : imposibility

I have heard that it is imposible to drink a gallon of milk in one hour without throwing up. I have recently heard one of my friends say he knew a guy that has done it though(I dont believe them). Is there any factual evidence that would prove either side of the issue?

Many moons ago at summer camp my bunk and I each tried to drink a gallon of milk in less than a hour.
You guessed it, the whole bunk stood in a line and puke like sick puppies. I have tried to drink a gallon of milk in my 20's as well. Same result....Puked. I do not think it can be done.

Your body cannot break down all of the lactose in that amount of time. That is what I heard.

Im sure there is someone in the world that can do it. I've never tried it though.

No no, it's definitely possible. It's very simple. Stomach size varies from person to person. If you have enough room in your stomach, you can drink a gallon of milk. But you probably won't feel good afterwards.
The trouble lies in cocky people when their stomach is just big enough to allow a whole gallon in an hour, but think they can do it in 30 or 45 minutes, and realize it's not possible until it's too late.

the question is, why would anyone even really want to drink a gallon of milk in an hour and vomit everywhere.

Even the guys of Jackass tried it...
See the video (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3426511136207605524&q=jackass)

Yes, the Jackass team also tackled the 50 hard-boiled eggs in an hour too. Disgusting results.
I really enjoyed this video, because I'm a HUGE Jackass fan. I recently bought the Jackass series DVD box set, and this skit was not on it.
EDIT: Notice, once again, even the Jackass guys try to drink the gallon in a couple minutes, not an hour. (This was obviously done for comedic purposes, not to actually succeed.)

You're welcome :D , I found it in Google
Now you mention eggs, IMO the most disgusting skit was the one of the omelette, Grouse! :X

I found the sperm bank volume test rather nasty and I'm no prude. LOL

I've seen the "drink a gallon of milk" tried several times. Some people say you're okay if its not whole milk. I saw a guy do it with 2%...guess what? HE PUKED.

One question... I've seen pink colored milk, and brown colored milk, does that milk have strawberry and chocolate flavor respectively?
02-13-2006, 09:43 PM
MrR....YES on both flavors.

I like strawberry milk. I love chocolate milk. Nesquik even has bottles of banana milk. It's pretty good but a little sweet.

I like flavored milk... in fact, Coca-Cola here has a flavored milk line under the Minute Maid trademark...in strawberry, choco-banana and chocolate flavors and also vanilla Nesquik tastes really good!

Ramon, "The Omelette" definitely ranks within the top 3 most disgusting Jackass skits, and that's saying something!

It deserved to be the No. 1... absolutely! :D

i dont think its because of milk, i just think a gallon of anything is too much to drink...
though what exactly is the challenge, to consume the whole gallon in an hour and not puke at all? or just not puke within the hour?
i think if it was spaced well enough over an hour with the right sized person it could be done..
i drank 2 quarts(a half gallon) of this disgustingly thick chocolate milk, probably in about 40 minutes, and my friend did it too, to show me that it wasnt that impressive. he puked it all up, looked the same as when it went in. i didnt, but i was so terribly uncomfortable. i just felt like weighd down( i was probably all full) not nauseaus though

The only deal with milk is that it digests slower than most liquids.
So, if your stomach can barely hold a gallon, then there's a chance you won't be able to get the last bit down a little later, because your stomach can't break it down quick enough to do it within an hour.
