Over the weekend, I decided it was time to pack up again since I'm forever running out of space.
Some of these are old.. some aren't. I just took pics of whatever I was putting away..
Pay attention to the 7oz. on the end! Only one I've ever came across!

I always enjoy your posts about your bottle collection, that glass bottles reminded me the 500 ml glass non-returnable bottles we used to have twelve or thirteen years ago...

That Black-White-Red Coke can looks weird! Why does it look like that?
One question... do you have any mexican cans or bottles in your collection?

Hey WonkaPete, where did you get the Love Being Aluminium bottles from? I have only ever seen 2 of the bottles!
Also nice to see you have an English Diet Coke 250ml bottle (1st pic, centre bottle)
I have the same style bottle but in Regular Coke, but I do also have both Regular and Diet Coke in the fat 250ml contour bottles with wide tops. I also have probably the smallest production size bottle ever made by Coca-Cola, which is 113ml (3.77 fl. oz.) Please see pic below.

MrR, the can you asked about in WonkaPete's photo's is a clear plastic can. It was a proto type can that was never released. The test market versions had normal red labels.
Here are some pics of my plastic cans. 3 rare proto types from the USA and 2 ultra rare test market plastic cans from the UK. And the 4 test market versions from the USA.

 COOOOOOOOL! Thanks da987!
02-21-2006, 06:21 PM
Yep, DA987 beat me to it. It's a rare prototype. I actually have four of those. They were never released to the public.
Ramon, Yes, I have mexican bottles and cans. Please don't ask me for pics though, because I have no idea where to start looking. If I come across any, I'll post the pics. Thanks.
DA987, I got those M5 bottles from a friend overseas. They are in a presentation, plexiglass case. They are the prototypes. Not the released ones.

On the prototype, where the canning information usually is, it states, "Canners name and address appear in this space".

In relation to your first post, Coca-Cola Bottling of Sandwich, MA used to produce 7 ounce glass. When I worked for Coca-Cola NY, we used to get Seagram's Ale, Club, Tonic and I believe Seltzer from them in 7oz glass 6 packs. We eventually switched over to 10ounce, because Canada Dry and Schweppes already had that size. This was around 1997.

Can anyone tell me what RC Edge is?
02-23-2006, 12:06 AM
I used to sell Rc Edge. From what I remember it is a higher caffeine cola along the lines of Jolt Cola with Ginseng and Taurine thrown in as added ingredients.

I live in Saraland and would love to come and see your collection in person. I have some cans that I could donate to you that I don't think you have. I got a coke can from Japan when I was there in 1998 and it has the Nagano Olympics on it. I also have some mini cans from when I was in Dubai.

Hey Orion, long time, no hear. I haven't seen any of your posts lately. I'd greatly appreciate the cans! I have homes in Satsuma, Chickasaw, and Eight Mile that all house part of my collection. IM or emaail me sometime and we can work out a time!

wonkapete, great collection. What a total '80s flashback! That "Dr. Delight" is really rare, since the supermarket that sold it went belly-up a couple of years ago. I had one in my hometown; I wish I had saved some cans.

These are my babies!
I dont know how to do an attachment, but this is it!

Is you collection more bottles than cans?
And did you have a particular focus on you collection, such as international items, or more domestic.
I am a collector. I have a vast collection back home in my parents basement, that spans nearly 10 years of collecting, starting in 1990. I have mainly cans from all over the world and domestic stuff as well, though I have a hand full of bottles. Since I move out my folks house, it has been hared for me to collect, do to the space of my place. So I have concentrated on Vanilla Coke cans from around the world.
So far, I have France, Australia, China, Thailand, Mexico, Holland, England, Canada.
I still enjoy the hobby.

Jmyjunk, sounds like you have a nice collection too. I do have more bottles than cans because that's what I started collecting first. I do have several thousand cans, so it's not that I don't like cans, just prefer bottles. Seems bottles have more personality with their odd shapes and labels.
Many of those bottles/cans brought back some memories.
Cool stuff wonka.

finally, i'm curious about the h2oh! 7up and the crystal pepsi. i've heard of the latter, of course, but what did it taste like? and what's the deal with the 7up, is that just foreign?

This product is also available in Argentina and is also available in two flavors there: tangerine and citrus fruits...
You'll see more information HERE (http://www.who.reallybites.net/2005/12/15/would-you-like-to-try-the-new-7up/)
