Splenda Triples in Price. Ouch!!!!!!

Get ready world to lower your shorts because they got us hooked on Splenda with the benefits and fancy advertisement and now we will pay the price handsomely if we wish to reap the rewards of being obese conscious.

One pound was avg: $36.00 per pound
Now it is $128.00 per pound.

It is as bad as the price gauging at the Gas pump.

Every Manufacturer will have to raise the price of diet drinks exponentially to cover the cost.

It almost feels like the Sucralose people trumped up the obesity issue behind the scenes and got us hooked on Sucralose and now we will pay for all the adverts they have spent millions on to promote it as a preferred substitute.

A little far reaching but the impact is about to begin.

Is it just me or is Spenda becoming more and more transparent? They are in the same position as Searle was twenty years ago with aspartame without long-term studies to support the safety. Only, before the reports come out about the serious side effects (shrunken thymus glands, enlarged liver & kidneys, worsening of diabetic symptoms etc.) related to Splenda, they’ll make as much money as they can.

We need to stop trusting corporations (and the media) to make decisions for us about our diet! Anyone who believes that the bottom line includes the health of the North American public should see the new movie “The Corporation” for a reality check. http://www.stylusmagazine.com/feature.php?ID=824

The good news is not only is stevia natural, good for you, has no carbs, no calories etc. but is now cheaper than splenda!! Now we just need the “smart” consumers to make a move and support stevia-based products. Stevia was not created in a lab and cannot be trademarked.
