A lot of things are taken into consideration when starting your own drink line.
Packaging, ingredients, size, graphics, etc. Also, How much will you be ordering for your first run? how will you get it to your warehouse? How far away are fom the contract manufacturer are you?
You will need liability insurance for your drink. You will need a lawyer to set up a corporation, trademark rights, etc.How much cash will you need to have on hand so you can pay employees before the drink goes on sale? How big of a distribution network do you have? How many trucks will you need? How many employees?
There are many more questions.
I don't mean to burst your bubble but these are the things you will need to answer before you can gauge how much capitol you will need.

I can't tell you how much it will cost. My company makes our own drinks in house.

However, I would take the cost of the case and at least double it for a wholesale cost. Then you can discount it from there to higher volume buyers.

The year round market is pretty good due to the weather, and the snow birds. Coke and Pepsi are about even(West Palm- Ft lauderdale).I'm not exactly sure in Miami.

I just picked up 36 for less than $250 a piece. They gave me a truckload price because I am located in the same city as them and I picked them up myself(Ft. Lauderdale)

They don't make trucks that can pick up 40 pallets do they?????

If your pallets are stackable and the weight is not over 45,000 pounds....one truck could haul your freight. If the weight is under 45,000 lbs and pallets are stackable, you can ship up to 44 pallets. If you would like more info, please contact me at jhan@casestack.com

Hello,

You are asking the right question. The golden question of energy drinks!!!

A good rule is about $7 to $8 per case with minimum purchases.

Amazing isn’t it? It sells for up to $32 to the retailer!!!

Yes, it depends on the can and the ingredients but this has been my experience with several drinks in sizes from 8.4 oz to 16 oz.

It will also depend on the can you use as well as the bottler. Some cans require higher minimums than others. Some bottlers do the same. The bottlers I’ve used require at least one full truckload than ranges from 1,500 cases to 2,000 cases depending on the size. Most of them buy all the ingredients for you except the cans.

Don’t do a 8.4 oz can. The category is going BIG! Start with a 16 oz can where the category wrought is 60% per year!!!

I hope this helps,

Jorge
