The Coca Cola bottler in Winona Minnesota may have 10 ounce returnables. They do several sizes but not sure if 10 ounce is one of them.

Are you talking about deli bottles or returnables?

CCE Needham Heights, MA produces 10oz deli glass Coke. It's in limited distribution, so it can be hard to find.

I would call your local office and ask them.

Grocery stores rarely carry them, you'd probably find them in liquor stores that stock a lot of soda, though.

I saw these very recently (Coke Deli Bottles). It was a Giant-MD in the Washington area.

Is a deli bottle just a small bottle?

Here in MN, Cub Foods carries a big coke bottle (glass) in the mexican food section. It is supposed to have a different type of sugar in it though.

Dr. Galaga, Greetings I keep running into you everywhere(SMC Boards). A deli bottle is a short squat bottle like you see Canada dry and other tonic water in at the Grocery.

It is supposed to have a different type of sugar in it though. These use pure cane sugar, unlike the high frucose corn syrup crap that they use here in the states. Try some!

</font>[/QUOTE]What if I went over there? What would I find?
If I wanted to go there how would I? Is it beverage related?

Soda-machines.com
Cool website. Watch it though, started as a pop-freak just wanted 1 machine to put my pop in. A year later I have six and haven't looked back.

I found some 12 oz glass in floyd virginia at an mom and pop exxon station off route 221 on saturday. They also had a ton of the fat deli style 10 oz of pepsi products. The sign said they were 13.5 oz coke bottles but I think that is wrong the price listed was 79 cents for the coke and the 10 oz deli bottles.

I am almost 100% sure it was 12oz, the sign said 13.2 oz but i know that is wrong. Definitely american coke, this is a rural country town who still frowns upon foreign cars driving through. It was an exxon station off route 221 in the heart of Floyd, my mother in law will know the name of it she bought gas there, i will ask her and find out. Whatever size they were the price was 79 cents them along with the deli 10 oz

Coke does have 13.2oz in some areas only for single serve. This keeps the fridgepaks of 12oz bottles from being sold as singles.

I just got a quick glance at them, they looked just like the 8 oz bottles nothing printed on them but a bar code. The cashier told me the only bottles they had were the big coke ones and the 10 oz pepsi deli. If Floyd wasn't an hour and a half away I would drive back up there. Should have bought one but we were in a hurry.

Could these be from another place still producing in glass returnables? Who will find out?

it may be a while but next time i go to floyd i will stop again and look, or next time my mother in law goes i will ask her. There is also a mom and pop grocery store called slaughters that might sell the bottles, didn't have time to stop my wife and niece got sick on the way home.

update to the gas station in floyd, when i went to west jefferson on thursday i stopped by to get something to eat and get gas. I stand corrected on the bottles. You nice folks were dead on.

The 13.2 oz sign where the bottles were had been moved and when i went to check the bottles were only 8 oz. Sorry for the confusion but they looked like the bigger bottles. I will keep looking, my big regret is not stopping at the stores around west jefferson seeing what brands of drinks they had.

The 703 area code was the old one for that area, pre-1995 when 703 was contained into just Northern Virginia, and 540 covered the rest. I assume it's a 540 number.
