Since when does Red Bull use Real Cane Sugar?

They use sucrose and glucose not fructose

The question wasn't if they used Cane sugar, the question was if they used real sugar. Red Bull's Glucose and Sucrose are the same sugars you find in fruit. They are not synthetic like high fructose corn syrup.

Just so you know in the future, when someone says do they use REAL sugar they are referring to real cane sugar, not glucose and sucrose.

The chemical name for 'real cane sugar' is Sucrose which is a crystalline disaccharide of Glucose and Fructose.

Just so you know in the future.

i dont care if it uses "real cane sugar" as long as it uses real sugar, which is a simple sugar/carb.

HFCS is bad.. simple sugar is good, doesnt matter if its cane or not.

Again, when people ask if REAL sugar is used they are referring to real cane sugar. Red Bull does not use real cane sugar.

Does Red Bull use 'real cane sugar'? Maybe, given that the majority of sucrose produced is derived from sugar cane it's a good possibility. However, does Red Bull contain real sugar - absolutely.

Penergy - were you asking for beverages with real cane sugar or just real sugar (ie no HFCS)?

I know that Monster and all other Hansen drinks use Sucrose while most other energy drinks use Fructose.

Too bad Red Bull is disgusting. :D

Honestly, it's one of the worst-tasting out there. Even Bevnet said it was "truly painful to drink".

It's a pity that people are stuck on Red Bull as a result of their (genius) marketing when MOST other energy drinks out there taste better.
