Ichi, there definatly are way to many drinks out there in terms of the energy drink catagory...but Shark is one of the original, formulated back durring world war II.

shark has a very long history in many markets all over the world. the product does amazing in both europe and asia. the north american market is new to shark but i think it will have the same impact since the product is great tasting and the branding is simple and positive.

funny enough our bosses name is ichiro ?

Hey Shark-

Shark Energy is not new to North America. It Has been tried and retried. Hopefully the 3rd time is a Charm for your company.

You should have a professional chat with Ron. He is familiar with Shark Energy and probably can confirm or deny any of the promises or half truth's you been told by the company setting you up with distribution.

A most important reminder:

Important Reminder to Shark:

It's their job to sell the product.
( Marketing, Samples,Etc)
It's your job to get the product on the shelf.( Deliver, restock shelves, additional placements, new accounts)

Intrested to hear of past stories of sharks distribution? What regions in the states? There has never been distribution in canada. We are currently having a really positive push even getting some serious sales even tho we have only been out on the market for a little over 8 weeks.

uncle thirsty.

we are currently structured like you have advised and getting great support from osatspa directly

I do hope they changed their POS. They sent us their first english POS and didnt think to see how their Thai language translated over to english
"SHARK, Will Keep You Many Many Miles Long Sharp"

Good drink, but U. Thirsty is right...it has been pushed more than a couple times in the US. Just nothing behind it to propell it into the top 10.

check out our website at www.sharkenergy.ca (http://www.sharkenergy.ca) for the new branding info. we have redone all the POS with our own design department

also the new slogan is

"the bite goes all night" weather its cool our not is still up for debate. it definetly works in the on-premise sector where we are killing it

Posting you site 10 times seems a lot like spamming...

But ontopic:

- What makes Shark so different, I have tasted it some time ago and to me its Red Bull in a different can?

- You site claims to "energize the planet since 1965", can you elaborate on this?

shark base is the same as redbull however has natural strawberry which removes the medicinal after taste

1965 was the date shark started in thailand with m150

still has some of the same aftertaste, but yes, more of a fruity flavor to it. I did enjoy a cold shark, but I think I liked the non-carb can a little better.

I once emailed shark inquiring about reviewing their drink, they never responded.

Are M-150 bottles coming to Canada as well? Osostspa has just recently registered the M-150 trademark in Canada.

M-150 in Canada?? Where did you hear about that?
