Ode To Vault (Ramblings of a Vault Man LOL)

I do not want a malt.
If one thing I have been taught.
There is not a single doubt.
I am with satisfaction, a Man Of Vault.

Tasty and full of pick and go. ;)

I tried 3 separate times to give it a chance. It is bitter. It burns my esophagus. I cant drink more then half a can and even that is too much.

You've forgot the "I haven't tried it" option :(

If only I could try Vault (sigh)...

I tried it but it didnt seem that special to me. It wasn't a bad taste. I don't know why they pawn it off as an energy drink, there isn't any ingredient in the drink that should give you energy other than caffeine and sugar, which every soft drink has.

I like the taste but it has no "Kick" Like they claim

I think vault is pretty good myself. I would agree it doesn't have too much energy though.

Vault is a great Soda, not an energy drink. It's not an Energy Drink, don't let the tag lines fool you.

MDX is more of an energy drink than this.

I like MDX but in this period where you couldn't find the thing anywhere around here, I tried vault and happen to now like it too and figured if MDX was leaving this was an ok replacement. Then MDX came back and I enjoy both.

So what IS going on with MDX anyway?

And in the past, why have I seen more Suger free MDX and regular MDX? Furthermore, why was there more sugar free MDX out in the open at stores than non-sugar free MDX?

I used to have at least one Coke every day, among other sodas. Now I might not always have a Coke but will always have a Vault or maybe a Vault Zero when I get to feeling guilty about the calories. I'm hooked. But I don't consider Vault to fit into the energy drink category either.

I drink Vault by the 1 Liter bottle! It keeps me going at work all day (or until I drink it all, at which point I am forced to switch to Pepsi Vanilla. They don't have Coke in the vending machines at my job. Something to do with the company that services them having an exclusivity agreement with PepsiCo.) I could get 2 1 Liters, but my lunch box won't hold one of them. Then again, I could try cans, but open containers are forbidden on the shop floor...

It's funny - when Vault first came out and it was only available in bottles, I loved it. Then I bought some in cans and, while I still liked it, it just wasn't the same as in the bottle. For some reason, this is one of those sodas that to me tastes entirely different out of a bottle than from a can - still, though, it's really good.

I believe that a lot of consumers are making the purchase because of the low price. I'm not sure if thats the marketing position they wantet to take in the recent energy-soda releases, but they seem to have found their niche.

I dont like Energy Sodas, and I'm not fond of Vault's flavour.

Esp when it is about to expire, or HAS expired! Different I know, but it provides a good bargin -- three 20oz Vaults for $1.23 (that includes tax) at the store that sells short-dated sodas makes me happy.

But I have had too many to drink in the last day so I need to take a break. :(
