Are you sure you just don't WANT to like it?

I love Vault, I was never expecting a "kick" when I drank it. In my opinion it tastes good better than mountain dew.

I agree. I picked up a six-pack of Vault on sale for only .99 (I pretty much will try anything once if it's discounted enough!). Drank one can and the other 5 have been sitting in my fridge the past month. Didn't care for the taste and felt no buzz. I don't think I'm their core audience -- I stopped drinking Mountain Dew years ago -- but as far as energy drinks go, which I do consume on a regular basis, it's unimpressive.

I think the key is to look past Coke's marketing of it as an e-drink and view it as what it really is a citrus-soda with standard pricing and an assload of caffine. Its more like Jolt than Rockstar. If you think of it that way it is a far more attractive offering.

there is kick
i mean compared to mountain dew... or even MDX

you can't straight up compare it to another engery drink because its more a soda. However for being a soda it does pack a lot.

I'm surprised with all the anti-Vault sentiment. It's starting to sound like fanboyism to me.

After all, how appropriate would it be for me to simply create an "I hate Mt Dew" thread?

I think it tastes really good as just a regular soda... the kick sucks there is very little or none there. But i must say the taste is good.

They say it is an energy drink but in reality it is just another citrus drink.Peopel buy it because they think they will get a good citrus flavor along with an energy kick but only get the flavor.
