so I was out today and found Jolt in 16oz glass bottles in 3 diff flavors. I havent seen this drink since the mid 80's. I knew they still made the battery can but havent ever seen these flavors either, Red eye, Cherry bomb, and original. Ill upload pics as soon as i can.

Just as an FYI, what store and or what area did you find it?

i bought quite a few of them, wasnt allowed to drink Jolt when i was a kid so i have alot of making up to do.

I also saw the 16 oz. glass bottles at big Lots, they had Red Eye and Cherry Bomb.
I can pretty regularly get the 12 oz. bottles though in Cherry Bomb, red eye, electric blue and cola. i have a few of each right now. Of course, as i say that, I'll find out I can't get it anymore..

The Big Lots by me has tons of the blue Jolt in the glass bottles.

I was in two Big Lots stores since yesterday myself, and didn't see any Jolt at either of them. :( It seems like whenever someone posts about sodas of interest to me found at Big Lots it's always in another part of the country and I never see it at the stores here. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/images/smiles/eusa_wall.gif
i havne't seen it since the mid 90's in Oklahoma City.

Congrats - I'm so jealous - I paid $40 for a case of 12 Jolt at Christmas time - it was for the Jolt Red Eye, but mine came in the 24 oz. battery shaped cans. I thought they discontinued the Jolt Red Eye? You're a lucky guy!

Jolt is available in my area (southwest Ohio) in the 24 oz cans. There is the regular cola, a cherry, a diet, and a blue cotton candy flavor. Also, some say 220 "jolts" of caffiene while others are 140.

ive had too many of these lately, bought most of what biglots had.

So how much was Big Lots charging for them, anyway?

I found the standard flavors at at a Giant store in PA today, in 4 packs of 16oz cans.

I hit our local big lots. I grabbed The last 3 Jolt Electric Blue 16 oz glass for 60 cents each! there were no other flavors. I also saw a Clamato Energy drink there (for those who dont know, clamato is a clam flavored tomato juice. Now imagine that in an energy drink)

It IMO, would be worse than Puke In A Can flavored energy drink. LOLOL

i bought another 10 bottles of jolt, tried that clamato drink, worst thing ive ever tasted.

I have not died, but my internet connection did a few hours ago. I tried the drink... It was like v8, but more celery flavor. And clam flavor. And energy drink flavor. All in one mega (horrible) beverage! I do not know who had the bright idea to make a clam-tomato energy drink...

Stock up on the bottles while they last, our Jolt rep said the bottles are being discontinued. They'll be carrying 23.5oz, 16oz. and 8.3oz. cans.

I'm surprised bottles were still around period! I thought the "battery" cans had already supplanted them.

I found glass bottles on my last trip to Jungle Jim's (last fall).

I also found the same three Jolt flavors at the Big Lots here in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The bottles were 60¢ a piece.

Tons of these at the Big Lots in District Heights, MD, just east of DC.

The Big Lots (Westchester) in High Point, NC has a large number of bottles of the Jolt Cola, several bottles of the Jolt Red Eye, and only a few bottles of the Jolt Electric Blue. As other posters have mentioned, they are priced at 60 cents each.

I found some of these at Big Lots for 60 cents-- should I buy some?
05-16-2007, 06:46 PM
Heck I would! But I still am not seeing those in the Big Lots stores in my neck of the woods
05-16-2007, 11:56 PM
I've never had Jolt, if anyone wants some, email me email@example.com -- I'm sure we can hook something up.
