From everything I've heard, it'll be out at the same time as the relaunch of regular Vanilla Coke.

And don't you mean Coca-Cola Vanilla Zero? ;)

So, when exactly is the relaunch of vanilla coke scheduled? bcv coke is already gone in my area.

i hope it tastes as good as cherry coke zero... or, at least, better than the previous diet vanilla coke.

Vanilla Coke is also on ths site. The old packaging is shown. Any dates for release? It has now been 5 years since the first time Vanilla Coke was launched.

Pretty sure I heard June.

Pretty sure I heard that from someone on this forum in another Vanilla Coke Thread buried far too deep for me to go searching for it right now. </laziness>

Keep your eyes peeled, 20oz may be coming earlier than June, in some areas.

Vanilla Zero is the replacement for Diet Vanilla. Coke's putting more behind Zero with the flavors than with Diet Coke these days.

Those are sales samples - you can see the expiration date of May 14th.

From what I have heard, it's the same exact formula as before.

Oh it's out. I found it today and tasted the Coca-Cola Vanilla. I hate the packaging, I kinda wish I would of gone along with the new Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero packaging, oh well.

They had 2/$1.00 in the small trial packages, I bought 4. Check it out.

i wonder why they took it away in the first place...

or why they brought it back (popular demand)...

and... i wonder why they made the sugar-free version zero, instead of diet...

My local King Soopers didn't have any bottles or cans of Vanilla Coke. They also didn't have any cans of Vanilla Zero BUT they did have single 20 OZ bottles of Vanilla Zero so I picked up a few bottles. Not a bad flavor, I will definately get it again.

bought it today at shoprite and it has a very bad diet taste unlike the other two zero products. the diet taste overpowers the vanilla taste overall a 3.0 out of the 10.0. Back to the drawing board

i'm not optimistic for vanilla zero, just because i haven't really liked any of the vanilla flavored drinks.

my problem with diet vanilla coke was not any aftertaste, but... the artificial vanilla flavoring.

also, if it's the same formula, then we shouldn't expect vanilla coke zero to taste much different than diet vanilla coke, since both use the same aspartame/ace-k combination of sweeteners... for the most part, they are almost the same...

I think we're gonna be getting Vanilla Coke this week here in Denver. I stopped at a local Western Convenience store and told the guy they were bringing back Vanilla Cole. He mentioned he had already spoke with the Coke driver about ordering it and he things it may be there Wednesday. I'm gonna be buying lots of it. I'm a Coke addict. Well vanilla Coke addict.

I was delighted to find 20 oz. bottles of Vanilla Coke Zero at A&P this morning. It's pretty good - a little more diety than Cherry Zero, but definitely better than I remember Diet Vanilla Coke being, and it has that "artificial vanilla" flavor I know and love.

Haven't found regular V-Coke yet, but I'm definitely keeping my eyes peeled.

We'll its here in Boulder! So that mean it's in Denver. I picked one up at the Boulder Gas this morning. The last place in the world I'd see anything new, as they hardly rotating their stock. But there it was, must of been put in new this morning, becasue it really wasn't all that cold. Really made my morning, since I missed the bus, and wasn't planning in stopping in.
It's taste just how I remembered it, which is fantastic!

Is there anyone here I could buy this off of? For some weird reason, I don't have Vanilla Coke here yet and I need it BAD. I've asked every gas station and grocery store I could think of within a 100 mile radius if they had it, and each and every one of them has either never heard of it, or given me a really stupid look upon asking them in person. Gah... does anyone ever check their inventory shipping schedule anymore? Or maybe I just have bad luck and I'm only getting lowly employees who have nothing to do with ordering inventory?

Oh, by the way, I've already checked eBay. There's Vanilla Coke for sale but I took one look at the shipping costs, nearly choked on the cereal I'm eating, and closed the browser window in disgust.

EDIT: This might seem like a crazy thought, but does something like an online "soda finder" or "soda seeker" exist? They have these sort of online services for gaming consoles and just about everything else, so I figured there might be something that tracks soda shipments from certain companies like Coca-Cola.

Toni

Just give it some time! I still have only been able to find it in one grocery store myself. Gas stations and seven elevens don't have it here either. Everyday I check a few differant stores.

fusion

Store personnel don't order soda, for the most part. It's usually ordered by a salesperson who visits the store and puts an order in a handheld. That order is transmitted to the warehouse, where it is picked and placed on a truck for delivery in the next day or two.

Generally those people deal only with management on duty to confirm the order, so the person at the register is totally out of the loop.

Why not just buy some vanilla syrup (found in the coffee aisle) and make your own vanilla Coke?

I couldn't stand anymore after watching those mouthwatering pics of Coca-Cola Vanilla and Coca-Cola Vanilla Zero, so I made a Coke float with a spoon of Vanilla Ice Cream from a big bucket of napolitan ice cream we have in the cooler, OMG! when I drank it, it reminded me that smooth and delicious taste of our dissappeared Coca-Cola Vainilla... :P

Bought a bottle of Vanilla Zero yesterday at Wal-Mart. I didn't see it in the racks but the coolers by the checkout had them with a sticker ad on the doors.

Vanilla Zero's a big improvement over old Vanilla Diet Coke formula but it has a stronger aftertaste than Cherry Zero. It just doesn't mix as well.

I was never a big Vanilla Coke fan but I know some people who loved it and I'm glad it's back. Anything to help the success of Zero.

i just hope "vanilla" doesn't give "zero" a bad name...

but, i'm with you billy... i wasn't a fan of diet vanilla either (the vanilla just tastes artificial).

i might buy vanilla zero... just to taste it, but i doubt it will be something i buy regularly (note: i haven't tried it yet).

So.

I conveniently bumped into the Coke delivery guy at the grocery store today. And I asked him when we were going to see Vanilla Coke in this market.

His theory was that we'd see it around June 11th.

June 11th is the day the sampler bottles of Diet Coke Plus expire, and they understandably want to be rid of those before they launch another product.

A few more weeks won't kill me.

twitch.

(One could also also infer from this conversation that Diet Coke Plus is not doing so well.)
