They have the mini cans as well as 3 different 4-pack bottles. I found 6 of the 7 flavors and would love to know what the 7th one is.
The small cans are Lemon Drop Dead, Scary Berry Lemonade, Gruesome Grape and Strawberry S'Lime. The bottles are Monster Mojito and Black Licorice(?!) and one more that wasnt in stock. The label for it said "DRDLIC" Anyone have any guesses or have seen it and can tell me what it might be? Thanks a lot :)

D_R(e)D_LIC(orice) would be my guess.

yeah, i was also thinking red licorice, unfortunitely they did not have it in my area either.

Here's the Jones for this year, along with Halloween 7ups and A&Ws!

Very cool, our 7UP and A&W hasn't shown up yet, sadly.

Teh candy corn flavor is my favorite, brings back good memories...

I finally tried some of the Red Licorice and I have to say, I hate it. It tastes like Chloroseptic and nothing like red licorice. I had a red licorice Slurpee a couple years ago that I LOVED and this tasted nothing like it. I am very disappointed.

I picked up a four pack yesterday. Took a few sips and after that I couldn't handle the sweetness anymore.

It's just like real candy corn. You can only eat a few pieces, then you get sick of them.

Kudos, Jones Soda

The Lemon Drop Dead is exceedingly sour. It makes your face hurt. Citric acid is disturbingly high on the ingredients list. You may need a Rolaid after this one. It's not extremely enjoyable, IMO.

Safeway used to have a Red Licorice in their private label soda lineup.

I like the licorice, tastest fruit to me. I got my fill of halloween soda, i got 7 cans of pitch black 1 and 2, i was blown way at how good it still tasted, seriosuly it sis NOT taste expired at all!

CVS/pharmacy also picked up on the Jones Halloween flavors this year, they have the 4 different flavors that come in the small cans as 4 packs.

I tried candy corn and it was sickeningly sweet, I'll give the other 3 to trick or treaters this year.

I bought a 4 can pack, because it has. inverted caine sugar

The Lemon Drop Dead lemon is amazing!!! It quite tangy, and very tasty. Of course, I can only a drink a few sips at a time, but none the less, I love such lemon drinks.

I know it's the day after Halloween, but wanted to share some of my more "artsy" photographs of the Jones Halloween collection (http://www.bevreview.com/2007/09/26/coming-soon-jones-soda-halloween-2007/trackback/) (by "artsy" I mean, "shot a photo of the beverage in the grass next to a tree"). Every now and then it's nice to see something other than low quality cell phone shots!

Here were the cans...

Those cans look awesome.
Now if they could put out a line
of a few traditional soda pop flavors.
Just me???.....Jones existing flavors don't
flip my top. LOL

Dont worry Zabe, jones pure cane cola will be coming to a town near you fairly soon. Probably within next few months. It is fantastic. A beverage addict like you will enjoy, i promise!

The bottles this past season weren't too bad, as far as the customer-submitted photos. The labeling stayed with the orange/black look of 2006, with the only notably change being the branding change from "Jones Soda Co." to "Jones Pure Cane Soda". Also something to note... the phrase "Soda" is no longer listed on the flavor line. Whereas in 2006, a flavor was listed as Monster Mojito Soda (http://www.bevreview.com/2006/09/30/review-jones-soda-monster-mojito-soda-2006/), in 2007 it was just Monster Mojito (http://www.bevreview.com/2007/10/31/review-jones-soda-monster-mojito-soda-2007/).

Anyway, some of the artwork found on the bottles I picked up this year...

I'm sorry, but if you're a "beverage addict" more than likely Jones would be the last flavor you would find "fantastic." Jones markets well as the pictures are sent in by customers and they interact well with their customers.

As far as tastes goes however, you can name any one of their "regular flavors" they offer and i can give you 3 brands that taste ten times better.

Case in point, I tried Jones pure cane root beer a few months ago, I had to dump it down the drain as it wasn't very fantastic. If you want great root beer, try Goose Island, Henry Weinhard's or you can't go wrong with good old A&W, especially with cane sugar.

I think it's great a company can be an underdog such as Jones and still compete with the likes of Pepsi and Coke. By compete I mean take any of the lions share, as far as hurting Pepsi or COke, that's not going to happen.

Maybe it's just die hard fans who refuse to try other beverages to compare. I get the same from people who love Faygo, be it they're obsessed with the Insane Clown Possey and drink what they promote, or they're originally from Detroit, either way, Faygo is another brand that could really work on some flavor.

Three drain worthy root beers: Jones, Faygo and Natural Brew.

appeciate your opinion and comments. So I take it you have tried The Jones Cola, since you jumped to knocking their products. Just because you did not like a flavor or two out of their line does not speak for all.
The reality is, you have not tried their pc cola, so why do you make such a statement? Companys which make various flavors doesnt mean you'll love every flavor. Pretty simple isnt it.

IMO Jones is a "niche" soda pop with odd flavors that
appeal to a small core of soda pop drinkers. This is not
in no way a negative statement. It just means that
a die hard Pepsi/Coke drinker does not "get" Jones.
Meaning at least for me I do not "get" the odd flavoring
of Jones. My taste buds are "brain washed" into
desiring a traditional Pepsi/Coke.

It's all good in the long run. It just that compared
to the Big Three soda pops, Jones will IMO always be
a "niche" and not a main stream soda pop.

Just my two cents.:)

11-04-2007, 08:00 PM
it may be a niche,it may not....national ad campaign starts very soon. It will not be a niche soda co for long. And pcs cola sure puts the hfcs stuff to shame. To each his own...after drinking the pcs cola...pepsi and coke taste like poison imho. if you ever get a chance compare cokes vitawater to jones 24c. Quality isnt even close.Jones will become a monster in 08. mark my word.

Target here was blowing out the Halloween can 4 packs for .33 cents each.

Besides I would hate to take your money. LOL
I do wish you good luck.:)

No prob Zabe, have a cold drink of whatever will thrill your taste buds on me!
Betting is bad...just look at the trouble Pete Rose got in.
