I picked up some lemon lime and fruit punch
Meijer MVP store brand sports drink? Obviously
MVP is a Gatorade/Poweraid facsimile. I was suprised
how drinkable the lemon lime was. For what it was,
a store brand,it was not so bad. The price was right at
5 for $3 for 32oz bottles.

I have seen many store-brand sports drinks come and go in my time. Generally, they are smart to keep to the core flavors - lemon/lime, orange, fruit punch. But Gatorade has such a lock on that segment, the generics generally don't last too long.

Just look at Wal-Mart - they don't even bother with a generic sports drink, but they have generics in just about every other grocery aisle.
