G2 released! Low-cal Gatorade!

I discovered G2, the long-awaited lower calorie Gatorade. It's available in (at least) three varieties: Fruit Punch, Orange, and Grape. 25 calories per 8 ounce serving, exactly half of the normal Gatorade varieties. Although it doesn't appear to be a fully operational site just yet, the new site for the product can be found at INTRODUCING G2 | Gatorade (http://www.drinkG2.com).

In other Gatorade news, a link at Gatorade® (http://www.gatorade.com) to the press release about the upcoming Gatorade Tiger line has a graphic that may represent the bottle design, which appears to include a silk-outline picture of Tiger, the word Gatorade written small above the T in Tiger, and then the word Tiger larger, with the signature lightning bolt replacing the letter I in Tiger. The link can be found on the bottom left hand corner of the page. I've also included an enlarged jpeg of the graphic.

I found 20oz loose and 32oz at an off-brand c-store on my way home last week. I tried the grape, it's not too bad.

Gatorade was smart, playing it safe with mainstream flavors. I remember Coke's Powerade Light - Andean Chill and Aleutian Stream. Ugh.

I tried the fruit punch, and it was sickeningly sweet - nothing like the light, refreshing taste I've come to expect from Gatorade. I don't see how this could quench anyone's thirst.

I have yet to see G2 in my parts.
My guess is that it has some artificial sweetners in it.
My guess is that there is a small amount of HFCS for the
carbohydrates. LOL I'm too lazy to do a Google search. :(

It's got sucrose syrup, hfcs, sucralose, and acesulfame potassium.

Oh well another low carb/diet drink that I can't drink.
Just my small venting but when will "they" develop a low carb
drink that does not use those nasty artificial sweetners?
I call them the "toilet" sweetners.....LOL Use your imagination.:(

Saw two new G2 flavors in walmart today - Lemon-lime and kiwi-strawberry.

I am looking for the vending machine tabs for the G2 products or the graphics for the flavors, lemon-lime and strawberry-kiwi...
Anyone have any leads?

i've tried it. it's ok. i think i prefer flavored waters though.

The local 7-11 has G2 fruit punch on their fountain.
